DESIGN FOR A STOOKING-IABRIG.

TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Beit known that I, THOMAS DOLAN, oi' the city and county of Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvania, have invented or produced a new and original Design for a Stocking-Fabric; and I do hereby declare that the accompanying drawing, and the following explanation thereof, form a full, clear, and exact description of the said design.
The figure in the drawing represents sufficient of the knitted fabric to illustrate the design.
In the body A of the fabric are parallel rows of diamond-shaped spots a, and on each side of each row is a similar row of diamond-shaped spots b, arranged, in respect to the spots of the central row, as clearly illustrated in the drawing.
The spots a should diiler in color or shade from the spots I), and both should differ in color or shade from the body of the fabric.
Without confining myself` to any specific color or shade- I claim the design for a stocking-fabric, substantially as herein described, and represented in and by the accompanying drawing.
