DESIGN FOR A BELT-FASTENER PLATE.
To all whom, it may concern:
. Be it known that 1, ANDREW LINCOLN EA- TON, a citizen of the United States, residing in the city of New York, (Manhattan,) in the county and State of New York, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design for a Belt-Fastener Plate, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof, in which-* Figure 1 shows a face view of the plate, and Fig. 2 is a section taken on the line 2 2 in Fig. l. p
The plate is of a general rectangular form having oppositely-extendin g semicircular portions on the ends at each corner and an outwardly-projecting point on each side on the transverse center line.
The leading feature of my design is the straight parallel ends A, the semicircular swells A, arranged oppositely at the corners on said ends and extending outwardly, the
contour above described, consisting of the 20 points or projections A at the mid-width 011 each side joined by easy curves A to the swells, the holes a at the center of each of the latter, and the holes a on the longitudinal center line.
I claim- The design for a belt-fastener plate, herein shown and described.
