DESIGN FOR A. SASH-LIFT.
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.
To all whom 'it may concern Be it known that I, F. W. BRocKsInPEn, of New Haven, in the county of New Haven, and State of Connecticut, have invented a new Design for Sash- Ijift; and 1 do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawing, andthe let-ters of reference marked thereon, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawing constitutes part of this specification, and represents a front View.
This invention relates to a design for the article known to the trade as sash-lifts, that is, a device to be placed in the sash-rail as a means by which to raise the sash; and consists of a plate, A, with a recess, B,
the said recess serving for the insertion of the fingers into the plate.
The nature of rny design consists in the peculiar configuration of the plate A, the outer edge of the plate being raised, and the edge around the recess B also raised, and the ornamentation on the plate between the two raised edges of the configuration shown in the drawing is in relief, and the surface of the plate between the two raised edges either plain or matted.
I claim as lny invention- The design for sash-litt, as shown.
