DESIGN FOR FRINGE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No, 35,813, dated March 11, 1902.

Application filed February 17, 1902. Serial No. 94.569. Term of patent 14 years.

To (LZZ whom it may concern,-

Be it known that LWViLLIAM T. SMITH, a oi ti- Zen of the United States, residing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Fringe, of which the following is a specification.

My design is fully shown in the accompanying drawing.

The design comprises a fringe having loops projecting inwardly beyond the edge of the fabric, some of these loops terminating beyond the edge of the fabric in bands of network with depending tassels and others torminating in groups of knots, from each of which groups depends a plait terminating in a tassel.

In the drawing, 1 represents a portion of the fabric to which the fringe is applied; 2, the loops projecting inwardly beyond the tially as described and as shown in the ac- 3o companying drawing.
