Be it known that I, HARRY A. BARNES, a Citizen of the United States, residing at Milwaukee, in the county of Milwaukee and State 5 of Wisconsin, have invented and produced a new and original Design for the Lower Member of Fifth-Wheels, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part 6 thereof.

The plate has a marginal flange D on the under side, and this flange is broken or partially cut away on the rear side, forming a segmental recess E. The plate A is also formed with a circumferential groove F in its periphery.

Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The design for the lower member of a fifthwheel as herein shown and described.
