DESIGN FOR A BRlDLE-BIT MOUTH-BAR.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 35,001, dated August 27, 1901.
Application filed May 24, 1901. Serial No. 61,810. Term of patent 14 years.
To (all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that 1, JOHN DEAN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Racine, Racine county, State of iVisconsin, have invented a certain new and useful Design for Bridle-Bit Mouth-Bars; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which [0 it appertains to make and use the same.
This invention relates to a certain new and useful design for bridle-bit mouth-bars.
The object of the invention is to produce an exceedingly effective and artistic design 15 for bridle-bit mouth-bars which will possess certain striking or distinguishing features in shape or contour.
My invention consists in the design for a bridle-bit mouth-bar, substantially as set 2o forth hereinafter and shown in the accompanying drawings.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 is a perspective view of the mouth-bar. Fig. 2 is a side elevation thereof. Fig. 5 is an end ele- 25 vation thereof.
My bridle-bit month-bar consistsof the ap proximately round or cylindrical bar u, having the annular end grooves I) I), each groove being formed around the bar end by the two annular exterior enlargements or flangesc c, substantially as shown in the accompanying drawings, whereby said grooves are located at the extremities of the bar except for the outer enlargements c, said grooves each havinga rounded floor and flaring outwardly, said outer enlargements forming the extremities of the bar and having iinperforate convexed outer faces.
