FIG. 1 is a front view of the door-transom assembly.

FIG. 2 is a front view of the door-transom assembly when used with a suspended ceiling the upper portion of the transom and molding being inserted through an opening in the suspended ceiling and concealed thereby.

FIG. 3 is a side view of a portion of FIGS. 1 and 2 showing the door in a slightly opened position.

FIG. 4 is a side view of the door in closed position showing the transom and dowels for securing it in the door molding; and

FIG. 5 is a side view of FIG. 2.

The dotted lines or the broken lines surrounding the door and transom indicate the door molding or door buck and the door hinges and door knob. The slanted dotted line represents the ceiling which may be a regular ceiling as illustrated in FIG.
