The upper end of the tileplate is provided with a transverse shoulder portion, (indicated at e,) from the outerside of which rises a raised lip (17. One of the longer sides of my newly-designed tile-plate is bordered by a roll or liute e, which is parallel with the rolls 1), but which presents, as shown, a much larger surface, being wider in crosssection than the small rolls b and of greater height. The remaining longer side of the tile-plate is bordered with parallel longitudiually-arranged lips fand g, which project above the surface of the rolls 1). By thus providing, a raised upper end portion and raised side portions it will be seen that a central panel is provided with a depressed fluted surface.
