DESIGN FOR A COOKING-STOVE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 26,656, dated February 16, 1897'.
Application filed March 9, 1896. Serial No. 582,489. Term of patent 14 years.

Be it known that I, FRED E. LEE, a citizen of the United States, residing at the city of Dowagiac, in the county of Cass and State of Michigan, have invented a certain new and useful Design for a Cooking Stove or Range, of which the following,` is a speciiication.
My invention relates to a design for a cooking stove or ran My invention relates more particularly to the stove or range illustrated in the accompanying drawing, which presents a perspecti ve viewof the stove or range constructed in accordance with niy design.
The leading` feature of my design is more particularly the peculiar coniiguration and ornamentation of the various portions of the stove.
The outline features of the design are not essentially new.
The stove shown is supported upon a base B, provided with legs7 the whole of which is ornamented, as shown in the accompanying drawing, each leg being so formed as to present a finished naine-plate for the naine of the stove. Supported n pon this is the main body illustrated.

To the side of the stove which ordinarily comes next to the wall is a bracket D, which supports little swinging shelves and which is also a crestin g to `linish the upper part of the stove. These parts en umerated form a complete cooking stove or range which is very ornamental in its appearance.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
l. The design for a cooking stove or range substantially as described and shown.
2. In a design for a cooking stove or range the reservoir C with the hinged plate C in connection therewith substantially as described and shown.
In a design for a cooking stove or range, the ornamental bracket or cresting D at the top of the same, substantially as described and shown.
