GAME-BOARD.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 26,500, dated January 5, 1897.
Application filed November 28, 1896. Serial No. 613,837. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom, it may concern:
Be it known that 1, DAVID F. HEVERLY, a citizen of the United States, residing at Centre Point, in the county of Linn and State of Iowa, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design for a Game-Board; and I do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
My invention has relation to a new and original design for a game-board.
It relates to the entire configuration of the game-board, as shown in the accompanying drawings.
M y invention relates partic ularl y to a game board as illustrated in the accompanying drawings, in which Figure 1 is a perspective View of a gameboard embodying my design, and Fig. 2 is a transverse section of the same.
The leading features of my design appear in the following description.
1 represents a plane board having a circular pocket 2, located exactly in the center.
This pocket is surrounded by an inclined flange 3, extending entirely around the outside edge of said pocket, as shown in the drawings.
4 4 4 4 represent a series of four hemispherical recesses located equidistant from the center of the pocket 9 and equidistant from each other.
The contour of the board is that of a fourpointed star, as shown in Fig. 1, and the entire outeredge of the board is surrounded by a raised rail 5, with the exception of the apex of each of the points of the star, where an opening 6 is left.
Having thus fully described my design, what I claim as new and original, and desire to secure by Letters Patent of the United States, is
