DESIGN FOR A WASH-STAND.

TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Be it known that I, J. MOT'I, of Mott Haven, in the county of Wcstchestcr, and State of New York, have invented anew and useful Design for Wash-Stands; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being bad to the accompanying drawings, making a portion of this specification, in which- Figure 1 is a front view of a wash-stand made according to my design.
Figure 2 is a horizontal transverse section of the same.
Similar letters of reference indicate corresponding parts in both figures.
The front or body A of the stand is formed upon the arc of a circle, as shown more clearly in the horizontal section, fig. 2, and has formed upon its outer or convex surface the panels, mouldings, and other ornaments herein presently described. The top, B, is made with its rear edges at right angles to each other, as shown at a b, in fig. 1, and with its front edge formed on the are of a circle, concentric with the front or body A, and projecting somewhat beyond the same, and having, furthermore, a moulding, a, formed upon it, the transverse shape of which is indicated at the corners b, in fig. 1. Situated centrally in this top is the semispherical bowl. c, and the upper surface of such top around the bowl 0 is depressed somewhat below the surrounding edge portions of the same, as indicated in fig. 1. The back piece d, situated vertically at the back edges a 6 of the top, c, has formed upon its upper and end edges :1 moulding, b, corresponding to the moulding a of the top, c, and the two ends thereof are ogee shaped, as shown c d. Formed upon the outer surface of the front A, one at each side thereof, is a panel, a, which is surrounded by a raised moulding, e, the shape of which, taken transversely, is indicated more fully in fig. 2, the said panels being of rectangular form, except that their upper ends are made arched or semicircular, as shown in fig. 1. The door f is formed with a similar panel, of somewhat larger size, which has formed in relief upon its central portion an oval convex figure, g, across which extends a diagonal raised band, f, and around which is formed a raised ornamental margin figure, the configuration of which is shown at h, in fig. I. The lower edge of the front A is extended outward, as shown at m, in the said figure, so as to form a broad moulding at the base of the stand.
What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design and configuration of a wash-stand herein shown and described.
