TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

Be ill known that I, ELEMIR J. NEY, of Lowell, in the county of Middlesex, and State of Massachusetts, have originated and designed a new Pattern for Carpets or other fabrics, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, making part of this specification.

A in the corners, are two quarters of a cr0ssshaped figure; B B, in the corners, are quarters of a centre; when matched, will form four leaves, resting on lace work; C is a branch of leaves resting on bar D; said bar, when matched, will form a large diamond. The colors employed for the different portions of the design may be varied to suit the taste and wish of the manufacturer.

Claim.

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is- The design or pattern for carpets or other fabrics herein set forth.
