UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR AN APPLIQUE EMBLEM OR SIMILAR ARTICLE Walter P. Burn, Washington, D. 0., assignor to the United States of America Application September 8, 1941, Serial No. 103,226

Term of patent 7 years To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, Walter P. Burn, a citizen of the United States and a resident of Washington, in the District of Columbia, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for an APPLIQUE EMBLEM OR SIMILAR ARTICLE, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.

Fig. 1 is a front elevational view of an applique emblem showing my new design;

Fig. 2 is an edge View thereof.

While I have shown my design in the form of an appliqu emblem it is understood that the same may be embodied in other similar articles such as badges, placards, banners, buttons, pins, arm pieces, and the like without departing from the spirit of my invention.

I claim:

The ornamental design for an applique emblem or similar article, as shown and described.
