PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A CHAIR Application March 16, 1940, Serial No. 90,987

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, Willard H. Bond, Jr., a citizen of the United States, residing at East Grand Rapids, in, the county of Kent and State of Michigan, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Chair, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof, in which:

Figure 1 is a perspective view of a chair showing my new design; and

Figure 2 is a, smaller perspective view, viewed from another angle.

Figure 3 is an enlarged sectional view on line 3--3 of Figure 1;

Term of patent 14 years Figure 4 is an enlarged sectional view on line 4-4 of Figure 1;-

Figure 5 is an enlarged sectional view on line 55 of Figure 1;

Figure 6 is an enlarged sectional View on line 6-6 of Figure 1; and

Figure 7 is an enlarged sectional view on line 1l of Figure 1.

The characteristic features of my design reside in the portions shown in solid lines in the drawing.
