Be it known that I, Cecil I-I. Lawrence, a citizen of the United States, residing at Attleboro, county of Bristol, and State of Massachusetts, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for Compacts or the like, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.

In the accompanying drawing Figure 1 is a perspective view of a compact or the like showing my new design,

The dominant feature of my design resides in the surface ornamentation appearing on the side of the compact illustrated.

In the specific embodiment of the design illustrated the side of the compact not shown is substantially plain.
