Be it known that I, Mary Frances Mathews, a citizen of the United States, residing in the city of New York, in the county of New York and State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Hat, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.

In the drawing,

Fig. 1 is a front view of a hat, embodying the design,

Fig. 2 is a rear view thereof, and

Fig. 3 is a top perspective view of the hat shown in Fig. 1, drawn to a small scale.

The characteristic feature of my design resides in the hat of the configuration shown having a band extending over the front surface thereof and across the open top to the inner rear surface of the hat, as shown.

I claim:

The ornamental design for a hat, as shown and described.
