INVENTOR.
I BY Joseph tacsonv ATTORNEY.
Patented Jan. 25, 1938 UNITED STATES Des. 108,140
PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A BAKING PAN Application January 2, 193-7, Serial No. 66,868
Term of patent 14 years To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, Joseph G. Jackson, a citizen of the United States, residing at Oak Park, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Baking Pan, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
Fig. 1 is a plan View of a baking pan showing my new design, the bottom and walls thereof being ornamented throughout the entire area thereof by the use of a series of ridges and depressions making an angle with a second series of ridges and depressions so as to give the impression of a plurality of rectangular shaped areas as defined by the shaded detail portion. In lieu of shaded detail throughout the figure, a crossed-line background has been applied to represent a continuation of the ridges and depressions defining said rectangular shaped areas.
Fig. 2 is an enlarged sectional view taken on line 22 of Fig. l and includes an elevational View of the pan side wall having a shaded detail portion. As in Fig. 1, in lieu of shaded detail throughout the figure, a crossed-line background has been applied to represent a continuation of the ridges and depressions defining the rectangular shaped areas.
Fig. 3 is an enlarged fragmentary detail View.
The characteristic feature of this design resides in the ornamental bottom and walls as shown.
I claim:
The ornamental design for a baking pan, as shown and described.
JOSEPH G. JACKSON.
