Be it known that I, Kenneth C. Hamilton, a citizen of the United States, residing at Milwaukee, in the county of Milwaukee and State of Wisconsin, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Place Mat or Similar Article, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying draw ing, forming a part thereof.

The figure of the drawing is a face view of a quarter-section of a place mat embodying my new design, which design is repeated symmetrically in each of the other three quarters of the place mat.

Certain portions of the design are open work shown in the drawing on a shaded background to better bring out the details thereof.

Iclaim: The ornamental design for a place mat or similar article, substantially as shown and described.
