UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE SIDE HANDLE FOR COOKING UTENSILS AND THE LIKE James L. Hvale, Chicago, Ill., asslgnor to Ekco Products Company, Chicago, Ill., a corporation of Illinois To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, James L. Hvale, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, county of Cook, State of Illinois, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Side Handle for Cooking Utensils and the like, of which the following is a specication, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.

Fig. 1 is a top plan view of a side handle for cooking utensils and the like showing my new design;

Fig. 2 is a front elevational View;

Fig. 3 is a bottom plan view; and

Fig. 4 is a side elevational View thereof.

Fig. 5 is a vertical sectional view taken on line 5-5 of Fig. 1.

I claim: The ornamental design for a side handle for cooking utensils and the like, as shown.
