PATENT OFFICE EXPANSIBLE CHAIN FOR A BRACELET OR SIMILAR ARTICLE Saul Bitter, New York, N. Y., assignor of one-half to Marvin J. Bruner. New York, N. Y.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, Saul Ritter, a citizen of the United States, residing at 101 Central Park West, New York city, in the county of New York and State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for an Expansible Chain for a Bracelet or Similar Article, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.

Fig. 1 is a top plan view of an expansible chain for a bracelet or similar article showing my new design;

Figs. 2 and 3 are, respectively, side elevational and bottom plan views thereof;

Fig. 4 is a top plan view of the chain showin the links in an expanded position;

Fig. 5 is an elevational view taken on the line 5-5 of Fig. 4;

Fig. 6 is a perspective view of the top side of a link unit, and

Fig. '7 is an enlarged side view of one of the top links, partly in section, taken in the direction of the arrows 1-1 of Fig. 4.

I claim: The ornamental design for an expansible chain for a bracelet or similar article, as shown.
