Term of patent 14 years (Cl. D521) To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, George J. Staab, a citizen of the United States of America and a resident of Springfield, in the county of Union and State of New Jersey, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Ruler, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.

Figure 1 is a top plan view of a ruler, showing my new design;

Figure 2 is a bottom plan view of the ruler;

Figure 3 is an enlarged fragmentary plan view of the portion of the ruler bounded by the lines 3-3 of Figure 1;

Figure 4 is a transverse vertical sectional view, approximately on the plane of the line 4-4 of Figure 3;

Figure 5 is a similar view, approximately on the plane of the line 5-5 of Figure 3;

Figure 6 is a fragmentary vertical longitudinal sectional view, approximately on the plane of the line 66 of Figure 3, and

Figure 7 is a fragmentary sectional perspective view of the ruler.

The ornamental design for a ruler, as shown.
