MPROVED MEDICAL COMPOUND.

The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.

To all whom it may concern Be it known that 1, HUGE POOL, of Montgomery county, in the State of Tennessee, have invented a new and useful Specific or Medicinefor the Cure of a certain Disease in Hogs, commonly known as hogcholerzif and I do.hereby declare that the following is a full and exact description of the ingredients or componentvparts of said specific or medicine.'

The nature of my invention consists in the use of the following-described articles or ingredients, andin the followhigquautities or:;proportions, viz:

Lard, one+halfjponnd." 1

Bed-oak bark, two ounces.

Flowers of sulphur, three-quarters pound.

Pennyroyal, (herb,) two ounces.

- Bluestone, one ounce. Human urine, one pint.

Gopperas, one-quarter pound.

Water, four gallons.

Said articles or' ingredients to be mixed and boiled one hour, or until the mixture is colored black.

To enable others to use the medicine or specific made as, aforesaid, one pint of said medicine or specific should be administered to the diseased animal every three hours until the disease is cured. .What-I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-- v The combination of the ingredients aforesaid, in the quantities aforesaid, and to be used in the treatment of said disease'known as hog-cholera.
