DRAWER-GUIDE Specification of Letters Patent.

To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, EDWIN O. BLOMBERG, a citizen of the United States, residing at Rockford, in the county ofWinnebago and State of Illinois, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Drawer-Guides, of which the following is a specification.
The object of this invention is to construct a guide for drawers, so that the drawer will move freely.
In the accompanying drawings. Figure 1 is a horizontal section on dotted line a Fig. 2. Fig. 2 is a vertical section on dotted line b Fig. 1. Fig. 3 is a vertical section on dotted line a Fig. 1. Fig. 4 is an isometrical representation of the underside of a drawer showing my improvements in connection therewith.
The construction of the case 1 and the drawer 2 are of the ordinary make up, and to which my improvements are applied. To the underside of the bottom 3 of the drawer are permanently secured two guides 4 and 5 and two rollers 6 and 7 in a manner to revolve.
To the case 1 are permanently secured two guides 8 and 9 and two rollers l0 and 11 in a manner to' revolve. The rollers 6 and 7 rest in contact with the guides 8 and 9 and the rollers 10 and 11 rest in contact with the guides 4 and 5. In pulling out the drawer the guides 4 and 5 and rollers 6 and 7 move with it. The rollers 6 and 7 will roll in contact with the guides 8 and 9 1 tour guides serve to hold the sides of the drawer free of i the case, thereby preventing binding of the parts.
- I claim as my invention.
An article of furniture comprising a'case and a drawer, means for guiding the drawer comprising two guides secured to the case and located in the direction of the move ment of the drawer, two rollers secured to the case, one for each guide which is located at the outer end thereof, two guides secured to the bottom of the drawer and located parallel with the guides secured to the case and two rollers secured to the bottom of the drawer, one for each guide which is located at the inner end thereof, the rollers secured to the drawer movable in contact with the guides secured to the case and the guides secured to the drawer. movable in contact with the rollers secured to the case, the rollers supported on vertical pivots.
