To all whom it ma/y concern'.-

Be it known that I, J ORANN WINKLER, of Hudson City, in the county of Hudson, and State of New Jersey, have invented a new and improved Coffee-Mill Fastener; and I- do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, vwhich will enable others skilled in the art to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part of this specilicaton.

Figure l represents a side Viewl of my improved coffee-mill fastener applied to a coffee-mill.

Figure 2 is a plan or top View of the same.

Figure 3'is a detached top view of the fastener.

The object of this invention is to produce an apparatus for fastening coffee-mills to the corners of tables, so that they need not be held while being used.

The invention consists in providing the ordinary clamp-fastening with a lateral right-angular extension, reaching to .another side of the mill, and hailing formed upo'n its end a downward projection, fitting against the edge of the table, which is at right angies to the edge embraced by the clamp.

A., in the drawing, represents a coffee-mill, of ordinary or suitable construction.

B is a metal plate, fastened by means of screws a, a, or otherwise, to the side of the coliee-mill, as shown.

From the plate B projects outward and downward a metal arm, C, which' has a horizontal end-piece, b, through which a vertical 'thumb-screw, D, is fitted.

This screw iits under the plate of the table, as indicated in iig. l, and can be turned to clamp the mill thereto.

These parts I do not claim, as they are all common;

thellateral right-angular extension c, shown clearly in lfigs. l and 3, reaching to another side of the mill, and having a downward-projecting lug, d, to fit against the other side of the table, for the purpose of preventing the mill iiorn turning.

The lextension c may be formed upon the left o r upon the right side of the plate'B, as shown in fig. 2. By means of this extension, it will be seen that the mill may be securely fastened to the corner of a table, against any possibility of turning.

I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent- The clamp-fastening B C D, when provided with the lateral iight-angular extension c, having the downwardprojecting lug d, whereby the coffee-mill A is adapted to be securelyfastened to the corner of atable, as herein shown and described.
