Be it known that a subject of the I Ji'ihennesburg, in veal, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Drills for Drilling Holes in. Rock or the Lilac, (For which i have insole epplicstion for patent in the Transvaal, No. 293, filed July 20, 1904,) of which the iollow- 11g of England, residing at 'ing lS- specification.
The ire-sent invention is applicable to the drills or hits employed for drilling holes in col; and the like in mining, quarrying, enrl similar operations. It may be utilized in the production oi such tools either for hand. or machine drilling.
The iilliJiOVQIllfiiltS reletc particularly to the kind. of drill or tool which provided With detachable and. renevm-hle hits or euttion in detail by aid of the accompanying sheet of drawings, "wherein by Way oi simple 1 illustrate the same epplieii in the construetienoi e chisel hit or tool formed with one transverse Cutting' edge.
