SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 676,923, dated June 25, 1901;

Be it known that I, STEFFEN STEFFENSON, a citizen of the United States, residing-at Watson, in the county of Chippewa and State of Minnesota, have invented a new and useful Harrow, of which the following is a specification.

This invention relates to improvements in barrows 5 and the object is to provide a simple and improved construction of harrow which is effective in operation.

With the above object in view the inven tion consists in the novel features of construction hereinafter fully described, particularly pointed out in the claim, and clearly illustrated in the accompanying drawings, in which- Figure 1 is a top plan view of aharrow embodying my invention; Fig. 2, a perspective View of one of the drags detached, and Fig. 3 an enlarged face view of one of the harrowteeth carried by the drags.

Referring now more particularly to the accompanying drawings, A designates a beam, carrying atits respective ends shoes B. These shoes are also arranged between the ends. To this beam any draft appliance is connected. In the rear side of the beam a number of eyes 0 are positioned to receive the drags presently to be described.

Any desired number of drags are used, each drag consisting of a frame D, formed of a single band of metal bent substantially U- ing centrally therefrom.

From the above description it will be seen that I have provided an exceedingly simple construction of harrow which is so arranged that any number of drags may be used therewith and which is very convenient and effcctive in operation.

Having thus fully described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-- In a harrow, the combination with a beam having an eye, of a drag consisting of a frame formed Lil-shaped with its legs approximated at their inner ends with one of the legs ex tended beyond the end of the other and formed into a loop, a link connecting said loop with the eye of the beam, and a plurality of teeth attached to said frame, substantially as described.
