SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 299,819, dated June 3, 1884.

Similar letters refer to similar parts throughout the several views.
A represents a ring, made of ebonized rubber, bone, hard wood, or other suitable material, the periphery containing two notches, B and O, nearly opposite to two holes, D and E, in the periphery of the ring. From the two holes D and E are attached two rubber or elastic cords, F and G, the end of each cord terminating with a bulb or knot.
