This inventlon relates to improvements in cartons andv particularly to improvements in a carton adapted for shipping and display of goods.
It is customary to utilize open top cartons or boxes as a container for goods or `articles for both shipment and display purposes. Except Where the article is considerably smaller than the box o-r car- 'ton only one face or side of the article can be viewed through the open top. With articles of lesser dimension than that of the box or carton some means must be provided for anchoring the articles against displacement, such as a platform or display base which carries the article and positions it inwardly of the walls of the box or carton.
By the present invention there has been provided a shipping and display carton or box which affords ample protection to the article or articles therein while at the same time permitting the article, when displayed in the carton or box, to be viewed from the sides as well as through the open top. The invention contemplates such a box or carton to be shipped to the user in the flat, even though partially erected, requiring the user to merely complete the erection which is done rapidly and with the expenditure of a minimum amount of effort.
It is, therefore, the principal object of the present invention to provide a box or carton for shipping and idsplay purposes that enables the articles or goods therein to be viewed from several sides thereof.
Another object of the present invention is the provision of a shipping and display box or carton that accomplishes the foregoing object yet affords full protection to the article or goods therein during shipment.
Specifically, it is an object of the present invention to provide a shipping and display box or carton having a wall or walls of such dimension that the article is within the borders thereof while the remaining Walls of the carton permit of the exposition of the article or goods so as to be viewed from several sides without removal from the carton.
`It is also an object of this invention to provide a carton for accomplishing the foregoing objects that is formed of a single piece of card or paper board material, can be shipped in knocked-down condition and can be readily erected by inexperienced help.
Other objects and advantages of the present invention should be readily apparent by reference to the following specification considered in conjunction with the accompanying drawings forming a part thereof and it is to be understood that any modications may be made in the exact structural details there shown and described, within the scope of the appended claims, Without departing from or exceeding the spirit of the invention.

Throughout the several views of the drawings similar reference characters are employed to denote the same or' similar parts.
As shown in Fig. the shipping and display carton or container of the present invention comprises a base or bottom 30 from the four sides of which project walls, for convenience, indicated as end Walls 3l and 32 and side Walls 33 and 34. It will be noted that the end` walls 3l and 32 are of greater height than the side walls 33 and 34. As will later be made clear, the carton or container is formed from a single blank which was shipped to the user in a knocked-down condition and erected by him for use.
It is contemplated that the goods or article or articles to be shipped and displayed in the carton will either be placed directly in the carton or attached to a platform or carrying member and that said platform or ller or the goods will substantially ll the carton from end Wall to end wall and from side wall to side wall but will not project beyond the outer limits of said walls, that is, laterally of the side Walls 33 and 34 or extend above the upper limits of the end Walls 3l and 32. As disclosed in Fig. 1 the carton or container is supplied with a plurality of individual articles 35, such as wash cloths, hand towelsk or the like folded on themselves, individually, and placed within the carton side and end walls. The outer or upper edges of the articles 35 are substantially in the plane of the upper ends of the end walls. After the articles have been disposed Within the carton or container the package is Wrapped with or a cover is provided of transparent material 36, such as cellulose acetate in sheet or molded form.
As shown in Fig. l, the cover is adapted to embrace the outer surface of the carton walls while in the modification illustrated in Figs. 27 and 28 the cover is shown as within the carton walls and enclosing only the goods packed in the carton. In this latter construction, Figs. 27 and 28, the cover may have packed therein the goods or articles and then said cover and goods 4 or articles, as a unit, placed within the carton walls.
As clearly illustrated in Fig. l the articles 35 are readily observable from the front between the end walls 3l and 32 and from each side thereof as they upwardly project above the side Walls 33 and 34. At the same time it will be noted that the end Walls 3| and 32 being of an area, at least, equal to the area of the article as packed in the box or container will protect them from damage during shipment. As illustrated in Fig. 1 the package is placed on an end Wall, end wall 32, for example, and positioned upright for display purposes, but it will be appreciated that the package may be placed on the main panel or carton bottom 30, in the position of Fig. 5, for display with equal facility for observation of the contents from the front and sides thereof.
While the package has been illustrated as for shipping and displaying a plurality of articles of the Wash cloth and towel variety, it is to be understood that any other type or character of article may be so packed and displayed therein even to the extent of a single article having dimensions to substantially ll the carton within the walls thereof, or, as noted above, the article or articles may be secured to a platform or nller within the carton walls.
The carton, as noted above, is formed from a single blank such as disclosed in Fig. 2 wherein the main panel 30 is shown as bounded by score or fold lines 31, 38, 39 and 40 which respectively hingedly connect to the main panel extensions that form the side and end walls of the carton or container.
The end walls 3| and 32 are formed from similar extensions of the blank with said extensions being indicated by the end walls reference numerals 3l and 32 and since these extensions are substantially identical with one another, it is deemed suiiicient if but one of them be described in detail.
Accordingly, extension 3l is provided with a plurality of score or fold lines 4l, 42 and 43 thereby providing in said extension, between the score or fold line 31 and the end thereof, panels 44, 45, 46 and 41. In the erected carton, the panel 44 forms the end wall outer Wall member and has its lateral sides dened by score or fold lines 48 and 49 which are respectively in alignment with the main panel score or fold lines 33 and 4B. The score or fold lines 48 and 49 respectively hingedly connect to the panel 44 iiaps 50v and 5| which form closures for the end walls with said naps each longitudinally divided by a score or fold line 52 and 53 thereby supplying a closure panel 54 and a tucking nap 55 in each of the flaps 5d and 5I.
The panel =45 in the erected end wall forms a top Wall member with its lateral ends deiined by score or fold lines 56 and 51 which, similar to the score or fold lines 48 and 49, are in alignment with the main panel score or fold lines 38 and 40. The score or fold lines 56 and 51 respectively hingedly connect to the panel 45 tabs 58 and 59 which cooperate with the flaps 55 and 5l in closing the vertical edges of the end walls.
The panel 45 in the erected end Wall constitutes an inner wall member and has its lateral sides defined by a line partially a cut line and partially a score or fold line, the latter being indicated by the reference numerals 60 and 6I. The panel 46 has hingedly connected thereto through the said score or fold lines 60 and Bl -and 61.

t'uckihg' flapsv '62 and 63 each of which in turn is provided, respectively, with a score or fold line 64 and 65 for connecting thereto spacer tabs 66 The panel 46 inwardly of the score or fold line 43 and near the lateral edges thereof is provided with elongated apertures 68 and 69 for receiving locking lugs from the side walls 33 and 34 for locking the walls in their erected positions as will subsequently be made clear.
The remaining flap 41 in the erected carton forms a glue lap for hingedly connecting the inner wall member or panel 46 to the main panel 30 and for which purpose the said panel 41 has applied thereto adhesive after the blank of Fig. 2 has been completely cut and scored.
The main panel 30 has hingedly connected therewith through the score or fold lines 38 and 40 extensions which in the erected carton form side walls 33 and 34 and which extensions are correspondingly indicated` by the side wall reference numerals 33 and 34. The - extensions 33 and 34 are substantially identical with one another wherefore it is deemed sufficient if but one of said extensions be described in detail.
Accordingly, extension 33 is provided with a plurality of parallel score or fold lines 1|, 12 and 13 thereby providing between the score or fold line 48 and the end of the extension panels 14,
The panel 14 in the erected carton side wall forms the side Wall outer wall member and is of a length substantially equal to Vthat of the main panel 36 and has for convenience and decorative purposes its outer corners rounded as at 18.
The panel 15 in the erected carton forms the side wall top wall member and is of a length substantially equal to the distance between the end walls inner wall members or o-f a length so much less than that of panel 14 as equal to the top wall members or panels 45 of the carton end walls 3| and 32.
The panel 16 in the erected cartonforms the side wall inner wall member and is of a length substantially equal to that of the top wall panel 15 having its lateral edges defined in part by score or fold lines 19 and 80 which hingedly connect thereto end spacing flaps 8| and 82. Beyond the score or fold lines 19 and 80 the panel 16 has laterally projecting therefrom locking lugs 83 and 84 which interengage with the end walls inner wall members elongated apertures 68 and 69 in locking the carton walls in their erected positions.
' The panel 11 in the erected carton constitutes a spacer flap for spacing the lower end of the inner wall member or panel 16 from the outer Wall member or panel 14 upon erection of the carton.
After the blank has been cut and scored as just described and adhesive applied to the upper surfaces of the glue flaps 41 the extensions 3| and 32 are then folded on their respective score or fold line 4| thereby bringing the adhesive 10 into face contact with the main panel 30 along zones spaced inwardly of the score or fold lines 31 and 39 by an amount equal to the Width of the side walls respective top wall members or panels 45.
The blank is now in the position illustrated in Fig. 3 and it is in this position that it is shipped to the ultimate user.
The user upon desiring to place merchandise therein first raises the end walls from their at extended position of Fig. 3 to be normal to the main or bottom panel 38 which automatically "spaces the inner and-'outer wall members from one another a distance equal to the top wall member or panel 45 as shown clearly by the forward open end of end Wall 3| of the partially erected carton in Fig. 4. At this time the tucking tabs 58 and 59 of said end walls are folded to extend downward whereupon the ilaps 58 and 5| are successively folded to have their end wall closing panels 54 span the space between the inner and outer wall members 44 and 46 with the tucking flaps 55 disposed Within the said end Walls inner and outer wall members and to be between the tabs 58 and 59 and the inner wall member or panel 46. y
At this time the tucking flaps 62 and 63 of each end wall extension 3| and 32 is bent to extend toward one another and the respective spacer flaps 66 and 61 thereof bent to be normal to their carrying tucking flap and be parallel with the main or bottom panel 30. The side Wall Ailaps 33 and 34 are then successively bent to have their respective panels normal to one another after iirst similarly disposing the end spacing flaps 8| and 82 to the panel 16 which disposes` the said side walls in the positions illustrated in Fig. '1 with the locking lugs 83 and 84 of the side Wall inner wall members or panels 16 in the elongated apertures 68 and 69 of the end Walls inner wall members or panels 46. The carton or container is now in its fully erected condition as illustrated in Fig. 5 to receive the goods, article or articles 35. The package may now be completed' as illustrated in Fig. l for shipment to the ultimate consumer or for display Purposes.
The modied carton and its blank illustrated in Figs. 8 to 12, inclusive, is, in the main; quite similar to the preferred construction illustrated in Figs. 1 to '1, inclusive, except that the side walls 33 and 34 are of merely double thickness instead of a spaced apart construction and the means for locking the Walls in their erected positions differ slightly. As illustrated in Fig. 8 the side wall extensions 33 and 34 have -eliminated therefrom the panel 15 and the function performed thereby. Accordingly, the panel or inner wall member 16 is connected directly with the panel or inner wall member 14 through the score or fold line 1I instead of with the panel 15. AThe panel 16 is further modified by having removed from its ends the end spacing tabs 8|' and .82 and the locking lugs 83 and 84. 1
In the side wall extensions the panel`11 forms the carton locking device instead of the Wall vmembers spacing means and is illustrated'asof a width equal substantially to one-half ofthe width of the main or bottom panel 3|) and in addition is provided from its ends with locking lugs 85 and 86.
The end wall extensions 3| and 32 are-modified 4to the extent of eliminating from the tucking flaps 62 and `63' the spacer tabs 66 and 61. The user upon desiring to erect the carton for the reception of merchandise follows the same steps as above set forth in erecting the end walls of the carton of Fig. and follows substantially .the same steps in erecting the side Walls. In erecting the side walls of the cartonof Fig. l0 the panel or inner Wall member 16 is folded into face contact with the panel or outer Wall member 14 while the locking panel 'il' is disposed in face contact with the main or bottom panel 3i).
It should be here noted, that the raising of .the side walls from their nat position in Fig. 9
to their upstanding position in Fig. 10 formed -orlopened openings 9| and 92 at the bottom of the end walls inner wall members with the tongues 8S and 80 remaining in face contact with said carton main panel or bottom. It is into these openings Si and 92 that the locking the side wall members have their top walls inclining outwardly instead of parallel with the 'bottom or base of the carton as will be readily vseen by a comparison of Figs. 7 to 17.
In order to accomplish this the side wall extensions 33 and 34" are each similarly modied to the extent that their panels l'", which 'form side wallsy inner wall members, are made of greater width than the panels i4 which, in the erected carton side Walls form their outer The diierence in these side wall widths is added to the width oi the top wall members or panels l5 of Fig. 2 to form the pan- -els of Fig. 13. By this construction when the said extensions 33" and 3'4 are erected the inner and outer 'wall members extend parallel to one another and normal to the main panel or carton bottom with the top wall members or panels l5" diverging or extending outwardly and downwardly as illustrated in Fig. 17.
In order to brace the said side walls 33" and :34" in their desired positions the said panels or inner wall members 7-6" are provided with end bracing flaps 93 and ed with said flaps provided with inclined surfaces 95 and 96 corresponding,
in general, to the inclination of the said top wall member 15" when the said side walls 33" and 34" vare erected. The panels l5 or side an l0 while at the same time the inclined edges 95 -and 96 of the spacer tabs 93 and S4 are below,
although outside of the top surface of the top -wall or panels 15" as illustrated in Fig. 19 with ing flaps 8l and 82 of the construction in Figs.
.1 to l, for thereby bracing the side Walls in their .set up or iinal positions as illustrated in Fig. l?.
By this construction there is provided a ship- .ping container or carton which has an added artistic effect and at the same time adds to the apparent visibility of the articles from the sides of the package.
The modication illustrated in Figs. 20 to 26, inclusive, is along the same lines as that just described in Figs. 13 to 19, inclusive, except that the top wall members incline inwardly of the side walls or converge toward one another. A comparison of Figs. '7, 17 and 24 will readily illustrate the diierences in the final constructions.
The blank illustrated in Fig. 2i) is modified over the blanks of Figs. 13 and 2 to the extent of making the panels or side wall outer Wall members 14' of greater width than the panels or side wall members 16'. The blank is iurther modied to the extent of oppositely inclining the end spacer flaps 91' and 98' as illustrated at ll and |02. In the blank of Fig. 20 the spacing panels 93 and 94 are devoid of any inclined edge .as in this construction the said spacing flaps do not require any relieved portions to keep the same below the upper surfaces of the side walls top wall members The bracing of said top wall members 15" is accomplished through the spacing flaps 91 and 98* through their inclined contacting edges IDI and 102, contacting the inner surface of the cuter wall members 16"', as well as by the back edge |63 and |64 of the said tabs 91 and 98' which, as seen in Figs. 24 and 25, engage the inner surface of the inner wall members or panels 14"', while the spacing and bracing tabs 93' and 94' engage the inner surfaces of the outer wall members or panels 14" in the same manner as above described with respect to the tabs 8i and 82, of the construction of Figs. l to 7, and as above described in connection with the tabs 93 and 84, of the construction illustrated in Figs. 13 to 19.
From the foregoing it will now be appreciated that there has been provided a carton which accomplishes the objects initially set forth.
What is claimed is:
l. In a shipping and display carton of the class described formed from a single blank com. prising a main panel from each of the four sides of which extends a wall, each Wall comprising an inner and an outer wall member with said outer wall members integral with the main panel and articulated thereto, at least one wall being of greater height and having its upper end a greater distance from the main panel than the remaining walls, two of said walls forming a first pair oi opposing walls and each having its inner and outer wall members spaced. from one another by an integral top wall member and each of said walls having its inner wall member articulated to the main panel and its outer wall member whereby said walls may be folded dat and erected by merely raising same to positions normal to the main panel, the remaining walls forming a second pair of opposed walls having their outer wall members of a height less than the height of the walls of greater height and oi a length eoual to the length of the main panel to overlap the ends of the wall members of the iirst pair of walls, closure ila-ps at the ends of one of the inner and outer wall members of, at least, the wall of greater height for closing the space therebetween and particularly the portion thereof above the lesser height walls, and interengageable means on certain of said inner wall members oooperating with one another for locking the walls in their erected positions.
2. In a shipping and display carton of the class described formed from a single blank comprising a main panel from each of the four sides of which extends a wall, each Wall comprising an inner and an outer wall member-with said outer wall members integral with the main panel and articulated thereto, at least one wall being of greater height and having its upper end a greater distance from the main panel than the remaining walls, said greater height wall and its opposing wall forming a rst pair of walls each having its inner and outer wall members spaced from one another by an integral top wall member-and each wall having its inner wall member articulated to the main panel and its outer wall member whereby said walls may be folded ilat and erected by merely raising same to positions normal to the main panel, the remaining opposed Walls forming a second pair of walls having their outer wall'members of a height less'than the height-of the walls of greater height and of a length equal to the length of the main panel to overlap the ends of the wall members of the rst pair of walls, closure iiaps at the ends of one of the inner and outer wall members of the first pair of opposed walls for closing the space therebetween and particularly, at least, the Aportion ofthe wall of greater height above the lesser height walls, and interengageable means on certain of said inner wallmembers cooperating with one another for locking the walls in their erected positions. 1
3. In a shipping and display carton of the class described formed from a single blank comprising a main panel from each of ythe four sides of which extends a wall, each wall comprising an inner and an outer wall member with said outer wall members integral with the main panel and articulated thereto, at least one wall being of greater height and having its upper end a greater distance from the main panel than the remaining walls, said greater height wall and its opposing wall forming a rst pair of walls each having its inner and outer wall members spaced from one another by an integral top wall member and' each wall having its inner wall member articulated to the main panel and its outer wall member whereby said walls may be folded at and erected by merely raising same to positions normal to the main panel, the remaining opposed walls forming a second pair of walls having their outer wall members of a height less than the height of the walls of greater heightl and of a length equal. to the length of the main panel to overlap the ends of the wall members" of the first pair of walls, with, atleast, one of` said second pair of Walls having its innerA and outer wall members spaced from one another by a top wall member, closure flaps at the ends of one of the inner Vand outer wall members of the first pair of opposed walls for closing the space therebetween and particularly, at least, the portion of the wall of greater height above the lesser height walls, and interengageable means on certain of said inner wall members cooperating with one another for locking the walls in their erected positions. f v

In a shipping and display carton of the class described formed from a single blank cornprising a main panel from each of the four sides of which extends a wall, each wall comprising an inner and an outer wall member with said vouter 1 wall members integral with the main panel and amores articulated thereto, at least one 'wall being of greater height and havingits upper end -a greater distance from the main panel than the vremaining wal-ls, said greater height wall and its yopposing Wall forming a rstpair of walls each having 4its inner and outer wall members spaced from one lanother by an integral top Wall member and each Wall having its inner `wall member art-icu- -la'ted to the main pane'l and its outer wall member whereby said walls may -be folded hat and erected by merely raising same to positions normal to the mai-n panel, the remaining opposed walls forming a. second pair of walls having their outer wall `members of a height less lthan the height of `the walls of -greater height and of a length equal to the length of the 'main pan'el to overlap the ends of the wall members of 'the first pair of walls, with said walls of said second `pair of walls each having its inner and outer wall members spaced from one another, kthe inner wall member yand outer Wall member oi each oi said ysecond pair o'f walls 'being of a different height than the other and a connecting wall member spanning the space between the Ainner and outer Ywall members of each oi said second pair oi lwalls and inclining from the Wall member of greater height to vthe wall member of lesser height, closure flaps fat the ends lof -one Ioi the inner and outer wall Vmembers of the rst pair of opposed walls for closing the space therebetween and particularly, at least, the portion of the wal-1 of greater height above the lesser height Walls, and interengageable means on certain oi said 'inner wall members cooperating with one another ior locking the walls in their erected positions.

In a shipping and display carton oi `the class described formed from a single blank comprising a, main panel `from each of the fou-r sides of which extends a wall, each wall comprising an inner and an outer wall member with its outer Wall member integral with the main panel and articulated thereto, two of said opposed walls being of greater height and having their upper ends afgreater distance from the main panel than the remaining two opposed walls, said greater height vWalls each having its inner and outer wall members spaced from one another by an integral top wall member and having its inner wall member articulated to the main panel and its outer Wall member whereby said walls may be folded flat and erected by merely raising same to positions normal to the main panel, :said lesser height walls having their outer wall members of a height less than the height oi the wall -oi greater height and of a length equal -to the length of 4the main `panel to overlap the ends of the greater height wall members when 'in erected positions, said lesser height walls each lhaving its inner 4wall memberA of a length less than the length of its outer `wall 4member to 4iitbetween'the rst pair of opposed Vwalls inner wall members, closure flaps at the ends yof one of the inner and outer wall members of the greater height walls for closing the space `therebetween and particularly the portions thereof above the lesser height walls, and means on the walls inner wall mem bers cooperating with one another for locking the Walls in erected positions.

In a, Vshipping and display carton of the class described formed from a single blank comprising a main panel from each of the four sides of which extends a wall, each wall comprising an inner and an outer wall member with its outer wall member integral with the main panel and articulated thereto, Ytwo of .sai-d opposed Walls being of greater height and having their upper ends a greater distance from the main panel than the remaining two opposed walls, -sai'd greater height Walls each having "its inner :and outer wall members spaced from one another by an integral top wall member and having its inner wall member articulated to the main panel and .its youter Wall member whereby said walls may be folded iiat and erected by merely raising same to positions normal `'to the main panel, said lesser height walls having their outer Wall `members of la height less than Ythe height of the wall of greater height and of a length equal 'to the length of lthe main panel to overlap the ends of the greater height wall members when in erected positions, said lesser height `walls each having its inner wall member of a length less 'than lthe length of its outer wall member to fit between -the iirst pair of opposed walls inner wall members, tucking 'flaps at the ends ofthe inner wallmembers ofthe greater height walls with said tucking flaps ol a height equal to the height of the lesser height walls and adapted to be enfolded between the inner and outer Wall `members of seid Walls of lesser height, closure *flaps at 'the ends of the outer wall 'members of the walls of greater height for Iclosing the 'space vtherebetween yand particularly the portions thereof above the walls of lesser height, :and :means on the walls inner Wall members cooperating with one another for locking the walls in erected positions.

In :a shipping and display carton of 'the' class described formed Afrom a single blank -com' prising a .main panel lfrom each of the four sides of which lextends :a wall, each wall `comprising an inner and an outer Wall member with its outer wall member integral with the main 'panel and articulated thereto, two of said -opposed 'walls being of greater height `and having their upper ends a greater :distance from the main panel than the remaining two opposed walls, said greater height walls each having its inner and :outer wall members spaced from one another by an integral top wall member and having its inner wall member articulated to the `mai-n panel and its outer wall member whereby said walls may be folded flat and erected by merely raising same to positions normal tothe main panel, said lesser height walls having their outer wall members of a height less than the height of the wall of greater height and of a length equal to the length of the main panel to overlap the ends of the greater height Wall members when in 'erected positions, said walls of lesser height each having its inner and outer wall members spaced from one another by an 'integral top wall member, closure iiaps at the ends of one of the inner and outer wall members lof the greater 'height walls for closing the space therebetween and particularly the portions thereof above kthe lesser height walls, Yand means on the walls inner wall members cooperating with one another for locking the walls in erected positions.

In a shipping and display carton of the class described formed from a single blank comprising a main panel from each of the four sides of which extends a Wall, each wall comprising an inner Vand an outer wall member with its outer wall member integral with 'the main panel and articulated thereto, two of said opposed walls being of greater height and having their upper` ends a greater distance from the main panelv than the remaining two opposed walls, saidv greater height walls each having its inner and outer wall members spaced from one another by an integral top Wall member and having its inner wall member articulated to the main panel and its outer wall member whereby said walls may be folded at and erected by merely raising same to positions normal to the main panel, said lesser height walls having their outer wall members of a height less than the height of the wall of greater height and of a length equal to the length of the main panel to overlap the ends of the greater height wall members when in erected positions, said walls of lesser height each having its inner and outer wall members spaced from one another, the inner wall member and outer wall member of each of said walls of lesser height being of a diierent height than the other and a connecting top wall member spanning the space between the inner and outer wall members and inclining from the wall member of greater height to the wall member of lesser height, closure naps at the ends of one of the inner and outer wall members of the greater height walls for closing the space therebetween land particularly the portions thereof above the lesser height walls, and means on the walls inner wall members cooperating with one another for locking the walls in erected positions.

In a shipping and display carton of the class described formed from a single blank comprising a main panel from each of the four sides of which extends a wall, each wall comprising an inner and an outer wall member with said outer wall members integral with the main panel and articulated thereto, at least one wall being of greater height and having its upper end a greater distance from the main panel than the remaining walls, two of said walls forming a rst pair of opposing walls and each having its inner and outer wall members spaced from one another by an integral top wall member and each of said walls having its inner wall member articulated to the main panel and its outer wall 14 member wherefore said walls may be folded fiat and erected by merely raising same to positions normal to the main panel, the remaining walls forming a second pair of opposed walls having their outer wall members of a height less than the height of the Wall of greater height and of a length equal to the length of the man panel to overlap the ends of the wall members of the rst pair of walls, said second pair of opposed walls each having its inner wall member of a length less than the length of its outer wall member to l'it between the rst pair of opposed walls inner and outer wall members, closure flaps at the ends of one of the inner and outer wall members of, at least, the wall of greater height for closing the space therebetween and particularly the portion thereof above the lesser height Walls, and interengageable means on certain of said inner Wall members cooperating with one another for locking the walls in their erected positions, comprising openings in the inner wall members of the iirst pair of opposing walls, flaps integral with the lower ends of the inner wall members of the second pair of opposed walls adapted to overlie the main panel in face contact therewith, and locking lugs from the ends of said flaps disposed in the openings of the rst pair of opposing walls inner wall members.
