This drawback has been removed i by the present invention, which relates to a pipecleaner, that is in one end provided with a headformed mass of substances which in connection with water form an emulsion with the impurities in the pipe, which emulsion is drawn out by means of the cleaner in a moment.

I accomplish my novel results as will be apparent from the device described in the following specification, particularly pointed out in the claims and illustrated in the accompanying drawing, in which is illustrated a pipe cleaner made in accordance with my invention.

The pipe-cleaner I0 consists of a cleaner Il containing absorbent material exposed throughout its length made in a way which is, in and for itself, known, but its one end is furnished with a head l2 of such chemicals as in connection with water immediately dissolve all impurities in the canals of the pipe, so that these get perfectly clean, also free of the ne, tarry, sour coat, which sticks to the sides of the canals.

When the cleaner is to be applied, the end of the cleaner, which is provided with the head of chemicals, which as is apparent from the. example includes a detergent, is dipped into water, after which it is led into the pipe and moved to and fro some times, so that the head of chemicals may combine with the adhering refuse of pipe-sauce. This is hereby completely loosened from the sides of the pipe-canals, and in Contact with the head of chemicals it forms a thick emulsion-like mass, which is pulled out together with the cleaner, when the latter is drawn through the pipe.

For the make of the head the following stuffs 2 can be used, which possess the capacity of being able to combine with and dissolve the refuse of the pipe-sauce, e. g. a mixture of Grams Triethanolaminstearate 20 Soap flakes 150 Methylated spirit 850 Clove-oil 1 Water-soluble yellow aniline 1.2

The foregoing mixture, being a solid mass is heated until it becomes liquid, and one end of the absorbent'cleaner is dipped into the melted mass and thereafter withdrawn with an attached portion which is allowed to cool and solidify.

I claim:

1. A pipe cleaner having an absorbent portion substantially the length of the cleaner and at only an end thereof a cleaning material in solid form, said material including a detergent which will form an emulsion with the impurities in the pipe to enable the absorbent remainder of the cleaner to absorb the emulsion and be withdrawn with the cleaner.

2. The pipe cleaner of claim l, wherein the detergent is triethanolaminstearate.
