Description

Dec. 14, 1943. M. cAvlccHloLl TRAY SLIDE BRACKET Filed Oct. 28, 1942 INVENTOR.
BY MyW Patented Dec. 14, 1943 UNITED STATES ATENT IOFFICE TRAY SLIDE BRACKET Mario Cavicchioli, New York, N. Y.
Application October `28, 1942, Serial No. 463,657
3 Claims.
This invention relates to improvements in tray slide brackets, and the objects of my invention are, rst, to provide a simple and rigid bracket, and which is especially suitable for tray slides used in restaurants and cafeteras, etc., second, to provide a bracket which is easily installed.
I attain these objects by a bracket illustrated in the accompanying drawing, in which- Figure 1 is a vertical section of the bracket and tray slide; Figure 2 is a cross-section on the line 2-2.
The bracket comprises: a wall flat I, an arm 'I, secured to said wall at I by a cap nut I0, a fixed separator 5, welded to said arm I; a tie rod 3' passes through a perforated turned-up lip I2, at the end of wall flat I, tray slides 6, a spacer sleeve 4, xed separator 5, and screws into nut I I countersunk in outer tray slide 6. A cap nut 9 on the other end of said rod 3, holds the said wall flat I, and arm 'I in a single rigid unit.
Since the construction hereinbefore set forth, and material used is obviously capable of a certain range of modification Without essentially departing from the spirit of the invention, I do not limit myself to such specic structure or material.
I claim:
1. The combination, in a bracket, of a wall iiat having a perforated turned-up lip at one end, an arm secured to the other end of said wall flat, a separator integral with the outer end of said arm, a spacer sleeve, a rod removably carried by said arm and said wall flat and extending through said turned up lip, and tray slides conned on said rod, as shown.
2. The combination, in a bracket, of a wall flat having a turned-up perforated lip at one end, an arm secured to the other end of said wall flat, a xed separator formed with the outer end of said arm, a spacer sleeve, a supporting rod, tray slides on said rod, said rod being removably secured to said perforated lip and to said xed separator, said rod passing through said xed separator, spacer sleeve and tray slides, as described.
3. A tray slide bracket embodying in combination, a wall dat having an outwardly and upwardly turned extension, an outwardly directed arm rigidly xed tc the lower face of the wall at, a tubular separator fixed to the outer end of said arm, a spacer sleeve, a plurality of parallel tray slides, a rod extending through said separator, spacer sleeve, tray slides and said upturned extension of said wall at, and binding nuts on the opposite ends of said rod.
MARIO CAVICCI-IIOLI.
