The present invention relates a novel dis-.

play container and more particularly to a novel container and insert assembly so constructed and arranged as tomost eilectively display an article such as a teething necklace or the like,

and to retain such article against accidental displacement. V

Further objects are to provide a constrl'lction l of maximum simplicity, emciency,economy and ease of assembly and operation, and such further objects, advantages and capabilities as will later more fully appear and are inherently possessed thereby.

Referring more particularly to the disclosure having a transparent si in the drawing, the novel containercomprises a base I having an upstanding side wall! providedwith an intumed upper edge 3, a cover 4 having a depending edge 5,,and an insert 6 preferably die-cut to provide a plurality of radially extending projections I scored at 8 and 9 to permit their being vfolded as shown in Figs. 3 and 5.
