An object of this invention is to provide a card filing system comprising as support and a pluv rality of holders, with means on each holder to support a plurality of cards arranged in echelon,

the arrangement being such that the. holders may be individually removed from the support and the cards maybe individually removed from the holders.

It will thus be seen that there is provided a device in which the several objects of this invention are achieved, and which is well adapted to meet the conditions of practical use.

As various possible embodiments might be made of the above invention, and as various changes might be made in the embodiment above Having thus described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent:

1. A card holder comprising a board, a pair of grooved members receiving the upper edges of said board, the lower edge of the board extending below the lower ends of said grooved members, the upper ends of said grooved members extending above the upper edge of said board, a transparent strip attached to the upper edge of said board and extending above said upper edge, a strip attached to the board and disposed above the lower edge of said board, said last strip being formed with a plurality of forwardly extending equally spaced hooks.

A card holder comprising a board, a pair of grooved members. receiving the upper edges of said board, the lower edge of the board extending below the lower ends of said grooved members, the upper ends of said grooved members extending above the upper edge of said board, a transparent strip attached to the upper edge of said board and extending above said upper edge, a strip attached to the board and disposed above the lower edge of said board, said last strip being formed with a plurality of forwardly extending equally spaced hooks, and a plurality of cards formed with notches in their lower edges mounted on the holder and receiving said hooks, the distances between said hooks being multiples of the distances between said notches.

A card holder comprising a fiat rectangular board, a pair of grooved members receiving the end edges of said board, the lower ends of said grooved members being spaced above the lower edge of said board and the upper ends of said grooved members extending above the upper edge of said board, and a strip attached to the front face of said board, the lower edge of said strip being spaced above the lower edge of said board and said strip being formed with a plurality of forwardly extending equally spaced tabs.

A card holder comprising a fiat rectangular board, a pair of grooved members receiving the end edges of said board, the lower ends of said grooved members being spaced above the lower edge of said board and the upper ends of said grooved members extending above the upper edge of said board, a strip attached to the front face of said board, the lower edge of said strip being spaced above the lower edge of said board and said strip being formed with a plurality of forwardly extending, equally spaced tabs, and a plurality of cards mounted on said holder in echelon manner, said cards being formedwith equally spaced apart notches to receive said tabs.

A card holder comprising a fiat rectangular board, a pair of grooved members receiving the end edges of said board, the lower ends of said grooved members being spaced above the lower edge of said board and the upper ends of said grooved members extending above the upper edge of said board, a strip attached to the front face of said board, the lower edge of said strip being spaced above the lower edge of said board and said strip being formed with a plurality of for? wardly extending equally spaced tabs, and a transparent strip attached to the upper edge of said board, said board being grooved to receive the lower edge of said transparent strip, said transparent strip extending above the upper edge of said board.
