Description

    FIELD OF TECHNOLOGY
  • The present invention relates to cosmetic balm tubes and specifically, a rotating structure deodorant stick.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • Cosmetic balm tubes refer to containers for storing balm products, including lipstick cream, eyebrow pencil cream, sunscreen cream, deodorant cream, snake oil cream, and other similar formulations. Typical instances include the Chinese Patent Application Number 202410075719.5, published on 26 Apr. 2024, which pertains to the invention titled “A square solid cosmetic balm tube”, as documented in Chinese patent literature. Another relevant the Chinese Patent Application Number 202410209218.1, published on 12 Apr. 2024, which pertains to the invention titled “A square solid cream cosmetic tube”, along with an invention titled “a bottom rotary packaging bottle for solid sunscreen stick or body deodorant”. However, the structural design of these products, along with others in the same kind, tends to be relatively simplistic. This is particularly evident in the inadequate design of elastic components or spring-loaded structures, which leads to stability issues. Furthermore, the all-plastic structural design poses challenges for recycling the entire product.
  • BRIEF SUMMARY AND OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to a type of rotating structure deodorant stick, addressing the technical issue found in existing similar products that are susceptible to inadequate structural design of the elastic component or spring, leading to diminished stability. Additionally, the implementation of an all-plastic structural design presents challenges, making it more difficult to achieve comprehensive recyclability. The object is accomplished through the implementation of the following technical solutions.
  • A rotating structure deodorant stick, the deodorant balm case is structured as a column. This case comprises a housing and a base case. The top of the base case is fitted with a rotary seat that can be turned using a wrench. At the top of the rotary seat, there is a fork groove that accommodates a fork seat. The rotation of the rotary seat simultaneously drives the fork seat. The upper section of the fork seat contains a balm groove filled with the balm. This screw extends from the center of the fork holder into the base case through a central opening located at the top of both the rotary seat and the base case. Additionally, the screw within the base case is internally threaded to engage with the fork post of the shaft holder situated in the base case; wherein the outer hexagonal socket at the base of the rotary seat extends into the base case, both sides of the hexagonal socket are positioned against the openings at the ends of the plastic or metal springs within the base case. The outer hexagonal socket in the base case is aligned with the outer diameter of the fork post of the shaft holder, while the other ends of the springs on either side of the base case press against the inner wall of the base case. The shaft holder is secured in a fixed position within the base case. When the rotary seat is turned at a specific angle, it moves away from the restriction created between the springs and the outer diameter of the outer hexagonal socket.
  • One end of the opening of the said spring features a V-shaped cut directed outward, while the opposite end of the symmetrical spring includes an inwardly extending snap groove. This snap groove is aligned with the corresponding protrusion on the inner wall of the base case or is securely positioned within the clearance between the corresponding protrusion and the limiting rib on the inner wall. The design of the said spring indicates that it is not restricted to plastic materials; the metal springs subjected to the stamping and bending processes can be used as alternative materials.
  • A portion of the outer diameter on both sides of the spring leads up to the snap groove is designed to correspond with the contour of the inner wall of the base case.
  • The limitation imposed on the opening of the spring against the inner wall of the base case when the open end deforms outwardly and opens up by force.
  • The outer hexagonal socket of the rotary seat is positioned against the open end of one side of the spring within the base case through the connector in the base case. The outer hexagonal socket of the rotary seat is fitted and connected to the inner hexagonal hole at one end of the connector, while the outer diameter of the limiting head at the opposite end of the connector is offset from one end of the said spring; the fork post of the shaft holder is joined through the connector to a screw that extends into the base of the fork seat within the housing. The said connectors can be configured as required, and they facilitate the enhancement of stability for the rotary seat installed on the base case.
  • A snap ring rib is disposed in the outer diameter between the base of the rotary seat and the outer hexagonal socket. This snap ring rib of the rotary seat is engaged and secured to a central hole located at the top of the base case, with the engaged joint alternatively equipped with a sealing ring. The aforementioned structure further improves the snap-fit attachment of the rotary seat to the base case.
  • The outer diameter of the limiting head of the connector is quadrangular in shape. The configuration of the outer diameter at the limiting head of the said connector is not confined to the specified quadrangle; rather, it is determined by the rotation of the rotary seat at a specific angle.
  • The said shaft holder is T-shaped, the bottom of the connector is positioned against the upper surface of the shaft holder, featuring a fork post located at the center. The base of the shaft holder may also be designed in a square shape, ensuring that the shaft holder remains stationary within the base case.
  • A raised inverted post is located at the upper opening of the internal thread on the fork post of the shaft holder. This inverted post features a bump on the flat surface of the corresponding fork seat situated at the base of the screw. The bump on the fork seat is positioned at the upper part of the inner side of the center hole of the rotary seat. As the rotary seat rotates the fork seat into its designated position, the bump on the fork seat is constrained by the inverted post of the shaft holder.
  • An inner cover is disposed at the top opening of the rotary seat within the housing, while the bottom opening of the base case is fitted with a base cover. The outer diameter corners of the case are chamfered in round shape, and the said case can be configured in the shape of a rectangle, square, or cylinder. The aforementioned bottom cover may be omitted, allowing the base case opening to be directly plugged by the base of the shaft holder. The configuration of the end corners of the relevant components within the aforementioned case is designed in accordance with the specified rounded chamfer.
  • The present invention features a well-considered structural design, featuring an all-plastic structure that facilitates convenient recycling and promotes environmental sustainability. Notably, the rotation angle and connectors can be easily adjusted to meet specific requirements. This product is primarily intended for use as a container for deodorant balm and other cosmetic balms, and a modified structure of similar products.

  • EMBODIMENTS
  • The structure of the present invention is further described in connection with the accompanying drawings. As shown in FIGS. 1 -FIG. 5 , the said case can be configured in the shape of a rectangle, the outer diameter corners of the case are chamfered in round shape, the said case comprises a housing 1 and a base case 2, the top of the base case is fitted with a rotary seat 7 that can be turned using a wrench. At the top of the rotary seat, there is a fork groove 701 that accommodates a fork seat 8. The rotation of the rotary seat simultaneously drives the fork seat. The upper section of the fork seat contains a balm groove 802 filled with the balm, while the center of the fork seat features a screw. This screw 801 extends from the center of the fork holder into the base case through a central opening located at the top of both the rotary seat and the base case. Additionally, the screw within the base case is internally threaded to engage with the fork post 501 of the shaft holder 5 situated in the base case. The outer hexagonal socket 702 at the base of the rotary seat extends into the base case. The outer hexagonal socket of the rotary seat is positioned against the open end of one side of the plastic or metal spring 4 within the base case through the connector 3 in the base case. The outer hexagonal socket of the rotary seat is fitted and connected to the inner hexagonal hole 301 at one end of the connector, while the outer diameter of the limiting head 302 at the opposite end of the connector is offset from one end of the said spring. The outer diameter of the limiting head of the connector is quadrangular in shape. The fork post of the shaft holder is joined through the connector to a screw that extends into the base of the fork seat within the housing. The other ends of the springs on either side of the base case press against the inner wall of the base case. The shaft holder is secured in a fixed position within the base case. When the rotary seat is turned at a specific angle, it moves away from the restriction created between the springs and the outer diameter of the outer hexagonal socket.
  • One end of the opening of the said spring features a V-shaped cut directed outward, while the opposite end of the symmetrical spring includes an inwardly extending snap groove 401. This snap groove is aligned with the corresponding protrusion on the inner wall of the base case or is securely positioned within the clearance between the corresponding protrusion and the limiting rib 201 on the inner wall. The outer diameter section of the spring on both sides, extending up to the snap groove, is designed to fit the contour of the inner wall of the bottom shell. When the open end of the spring undergoes a shape alteration due to applied force, it is constrained by the inner wall of the base case.
  • A snap ring rib 703 is disposed in the outer diameter between the base of the rotary seat and the outer hexagonal socket. This snap ring rib of the rotary seat is engaged and secured to a central hole located at the top of the base case, with the engaged joint alternatively equipped with a sealing ring. The said shaft holder is T-shaped, the bottom of the connector is positioned against the upper surface of the shaft holder, featuring a fork post located at the center. A raised inverted post 5011 is located at the upper opening of the internal thread on the fork post of the shaft holder. This inverted post features a bump on the flat surface of the corresponding fork seat situated at the base of the screw. The bump on the fork seat is positioned at the upper part of the inner side of the center hole of the rotary seat. An inner cover 9 is disposed at the top opening of the rotary seat within the housing, while the bottom opening of the base case is fitted with a base cover 6.
  • Based on the structural characteristics outlined above and illustrated in FIG. 6 , it is evident that the deodorant balm housed within the base case can eliminate the need for a connector. By extending into the base case at the outer hexagonal socket at the rotary seat or the outer diameter quadrilateral head, the opening of the spring can be aligned with the end, thereby achieving the aforementioned technical objects and effects.
  • During operation, the user should open both the housing and the inner cover, hold the base case, and initiate the rotation of the rotary seat. The rotary seat and the base case are designed to limit rotation at a specific angle, allowing for precise positioning. This mechanism enables a portion of the balm to be dispensed from the fork seat within the rotary seat. The user can then continue to operate the mechanism to dispense the balm gradually, and reverse the operation to retrieve any remaining balm.
