Description
- The invention relates to hairbrushes and more particularly to a hairbrush having a flexible handle.
- A hairbrush is a handle brush with rigid or soft spokes used in hair care for smoothing, styling, and detangling human hair. It typically has a recess in the base. The base of an integral hairbrush is made of thermosetting polymer. Chinese Patent No. 304759445S discloses a hairbrush. As shown, a rigid structure is formed between the combing surfaces. Thus, the rigid bristles cannot comb along the curved head when they touch the scalp. The user may feel a degree of discomfort.
- Thus, the need for improvement still exists.
- It is therefore one object of the invention to provide a hairbrush comprises a flexible member interconnecting a base and a handle. The flexibly deformed flexible member is simple in structure and a person using the hairbrush in hair care for smoothing and detangling the hair may feel a degree of comfort.
- For achieving above and other objects, the invention provides a hairbrush comprising a base including a plurality of rows of bristles; a handle; and a flexible member interconnecting the base and the handle so that the base is configured to flex relative to the handle and the handle is configured to flex relative to the base.
- Preferably, the flexible member includes a plurality of curved parts and a plurality of straight parts alternated with the curved parts, the topmost curved part is connected to the base, and the bottommost curved part is connected to the handle.
- Specifically, the curved parts and the straight parts together form a structure having an S-shaped longitudinal section.
- Preferably, the base is a flexible plate.
- Preferably, the base is hollow.
- Specifically, the base is plate-shaped and has a longitudinal section of circle, oval or rectangle.
- Preferably, the base is cylindrical.
- Specifically, base is rectangular and includes a rectangular frame, a first winding part, and a first central connection point; wherein the first winding part is symmetrically disposed at two sides of the first central connection point along a lengthwise direction of the rectangular frame; wherein the first winding part includes a curved section and an irregularly shaped section; wherein a first end of the curved section is connected to the rectangular frame and a second end thereof is connect to a first end of the irregularly shaped section; wherein a second end of the irregularly shaped section is connected to the first central connection point; and wherein the first central connection point is disposed in an intermediate portion of the rectangular frame.
- Specifically, the base is oval and includes an oval frame, a second winding part, and a second central connection point; wherein the second winding part is symmetrically disposed at two sides of the second central connection point along a lengthwise direction of the oval frame; wherein the second winding part includes an outer curved section and an inner outer curved section; wherein a first end of the outer curved section is connected to the oval frame and a second end thereof is connect to a first end of the inner outer curved section; wherein a second end of the inner outer curved section is connected to the second central connection point; and wherein the second central connection point is disposed in an intermediate portion of the oval frame.
- Preferably, wherein the handle includes a through hole having a curved longitudinal section.
- The invention has the following advantages and benefits in comparison with the conventional art: the a base includes a plurality of rows of bristles. The flexible member interconnects the base and the handle so that the base is configured to flex relative to the handle and the handle is configured to flex relative to the base. The base may flexibly touch the scalp when brushing on the head. A person using the hairbrush in hair care for smoothing and detangling the hair may feel a degree of comfort.
