However, theflip cap 6 may have any other opening mechanism and/or opening position, as long as the intents of the present invention are not altered. It should be noted that, any other kind of fastening system for the cap or covering, that may be used for protecting the applicator tip, such as a threaded screw system, magnetic fastening system etc. falls under the limits of the present invention, as long as the intents of the present invention are not altered. Further, a first terminal edge 12 of theflip cap 6 is angularly offset from a secondterminal edge 13 of theflip cap 6. In the preferred embodiment, the first terminal edge 12 constitutes a top edge of the first section 6 a of theflip cap 6, and the secondterminal edge 13 constitutes a bottom edge of the first section 6 a of theflip cap 6. Furthermore, as seen inFIG. 6 , a third terminal edge 14 of theflip cap 6 is angularly offset from a fourthterminal edge 15 of theflip cap 6. In the preferred embodiment, the third terminal edge 14 constitutes a bottom edge ofsecond section 6 b of theflip cap 6, and the fourthterminal edge 15 constitutes a top edge of thesecond section 6 b of theflip cap 6. As seen inFIG. 4 , wherein theflip cap 6 is in a closed configuration, the first terminal edge 12 of theflip cap 6 is pressed against the third terminal edge 14 of theflip cap 6, and theapplicator tip 4 is covered by theflip cap 6. Alternately, wherein theflip cap 6 is in an open configuration, the first terminal edge 12 of theflip cap 6 is angularly offset from the third terminal edge 14 of theflip cap 6, and theapplicator tip 4 is exposed. However, it should be noted that the first terminal edge 12 and the third terminal edge 14 may have any other, shape, orientation, angular offset, etc., as long as the objectives of the present invention are not altered. - As can be seen in
FIG. 3 , theapplicator tip 4 comprises afirst surface 4 a and a second surface 4 b, wherein thefirst surface 4 a is positioned opposite to the second surface 4 b across theapplicator tip 4. Preferably, thefirst surface 4 a constitutes an upper surface of theapplicator tip 4 and the second surface 4 b constitutes a lower surface of theapplicator tip 4. In the preferred embodiment, thefirst surface 4 a is angularly offset from the second surface 4 b. This is so that, thefirst surface 4 a with an inclined slope helps with easy application of the lip gloss over the user's lips. However, thefirst surface 4 a and second surface 4 b may comprise any other shape, orientation, inclination etc. as long as the objectives of the present invention are fulfilled. - Continuing with the preferred embodiment, the
dispenser 8 linearly traverses through thestorage cavity 7. As previously described, the linear motion of thedispenser 8 along thestorage cavity 7 pushes the fluid 11 within thestorage cavity 7 towards theapplicator tip 4 through the fluid delivery tube 9. To accomplish this, theactuator 10 is rotatably coupled to thedispenser 8. In other words, as the user rotates theactuator 10 through a certain degree of rotation in the clockwise direction, a fixed amount of lip gloss is pushed to theapplicator tip 4. To that end, in one embodiment, theactuator 10 is a rotatable twisty cap, wherein rotating theactuator 10 rotates thedispenser 8 and moves it along a screw axil. Alternately in a second embodiment, theactuator 10 is a spring-loaded push cap, wherein pushing theactuator 10 pushes a fixed amount of lip gloss from thestorage cavity 7 towards theapplicator tip 4. However, theactuator 10 and thedispensing system 3 may comprise any other components, technology, size, shape, etc., as long as the intents of the present invention are fulfilled. - Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.
