Abstract
A container with a handle includes a container body. The container body has a peripheral edge extending outward to form a ring portion. The ring portion is provided with a first slot penetrating through the ring portion. The first slot cuts the ring portion to form a first handle portion and a first edge portion completely connected to the container body. In addition, the ring portion is further provided with a second slot penetrating through the ring portion. The first slot and the second slot are respectively located on two opposite sides of the ring portion. The second slot cuts the ring portion to form a second handle portion and a second edge portion completely connected to the container body. The first handle portion and the second handle portion each have two ends connected to the container body and may be pulled up as the handle.
Description
- The invention relates to a container and, more particularly, to a container with a handle.
- Conventional containers with handles generally use slightly complicated design on the handles. Therefore, there is a need for a container with a handle which has a simple structure and is easy to fabricate.
- The invention is adapted to provide a container with a handle which has a simple structure and is easy to fabricate.
- According to an aspect of the invention, there is provided a container with a handle. The container includes a container body. The container body has a peripheral edge extending outward to form a ring portion. The ring portion is provided with a first slot penetrating through the ring portion. The first slot cuts the ring portion to form a first handle portion and a first edge portion. Two ends of the first handle portion are connected to the container body. The first edge portion is completely connected to the container body.
- According to another aspect of the invention, the ring portion is further provided with a second slot penetrating through the ring portion. The first slot and the second slot are respectively located on two opposite sides of the ring portion. The second slot cuts the ring portion to form a second handle portion and a second edge portion. Two ends of the second handle portion are connected to the container body. The second edge portion is completely connected to the container body.
- According to another aspect of the invention, the first slot and the second slot have the same length, so that the first handle portion and the second handle portion have the same length.
- According to another aspect of the invention, the first slot and the second slot have different lengths, so that the first handle portion and the second handle portion have different lengths.
- According to another aspect of the invention, the container body includes a cup. The cup includes a bottom wall and a sidewall extending upward from an edge of the bottom wall. The bottom wall and the sidewall together form an accommodation space with an opening. The opening of the cup has the peripheral edge extending outward to form the ring portion.
- According to another aspect of the invention, the bottom wall is a circular plate, and the sidewall is a hollow cylinder.
- According to another aspect of the invention, the bottom wall is a rectangular plate, and the sidewall is a hollow cuboid.
- According to another aspect of the invention, the container body includes a cup and a cover. The cup includes an accommodation space with an opening. The cover covers the opening of the cup to close the accommodation space. A bottom of the cover has the peripheral edge extending outward to form the ring portion.
- According to another aspect of the invention, the container body includes a cup and a sealing film. The cup includes an accommodation space with an opening. The sealing film is attached to the opening of the cup to close the accommodation space. A portion of the sealing film beyond, the opening forms the ring portion.
- According to another aspect of the invention, the ring portion is further provided with a third slot and a fourth slot penetrating through the ring portion. The third slot and the fourth slot are respectively located on another two opposite sides of the ring portion, so that the first slot and the second slot are interlaced with the third slot and the fourth slot. The first slot and the second slot are relatively close to the opening, and the third slot and the fourth slot are relatively far away from the opening. The third slot further cuts the ring portion to form a third handle portion. Two ends of the third handle portion are respectively connected to the first handle portion and the second handle portion. The fourth slot further cuts the ring portion to form a fourth handle portion. Two ends of the fourth handle portion are respectively connected to the first handle portion and the second handle portion.
- The above and other objectives, features, and advantages of the invention will be better understood from the following detailed description of the preferred embodiments of the invention that are illustrated in the accompanying drawings.

ring portion 71 is provided with afirst slot 72, asecond slot 73, athird slot 74, and afourth slot 75, both of which penetrate through thering portion 71. Thefirst slot 72 and thesecond slot 73 are respectively located on two opposite sides of thering portion 71, and thethird slot 74 and thefourth slot 75 are respectively located on another two opposite sides of thering portion 71, so that thefirst slot 72 and thesecond slat 73 are interlaced with thethird slot 74 and thefourth slot 75. Thefirst slot 72 and thesecond slot 73 are relatively close to theopening 703, and thethird slot 74 and thefourth slot 75 are relatively far away from theopening 703. Thefirst slot 72 cuts thering portion 71 to form afirst handle portion 711 and afirst edge portion 712 completely connected to thecup 70 a. Thesecond slot 73 cuts thering portion 71 to form asecond handle portion 713 and asecond edge portion 714 completely connected to thecup 70 a. Thethird slot 74 cuts thering portion 71 to further form athird handle portion 715, and two ends of thethird handle portion 715 are respectively connected to thefirst handle portion 711 and thesecond handle portion 713. Thefourth slot 75 cuts thering portion 71 to further form afourth handle portion 716, and two ends of thefourth handle portion 716 are respectively connected to thefirst handle portion 711 and thesecond handle portion 713. Thefirst edge portion 712 and thesecond edge portion 714 are completely connected to thecup 70 a. first slot 72 and thesecond slot 73 have the same length, so that thefirst handle portion 711 and thesecond handle portion 713 have the same length. Thethird slot 74 and thefourth slot 75 have the same length, so that thethird handle portion 715 and thefourth handle portion 716 have the same length. However, the seventh embodiment is not intended to limit the invention. For example, the first handle portion and the second handle portion may be designed to have different lengths, or the third handle portion and the fourth handle portion may he designed to have different lengths. The cup may be designed as a prism with four or more polygonal sides. - In summary, according to the embodiments of the container with the handle, the container body has the peripheral edge extending outward to form the ring portion. The ring portion is provided with a set of slots penetrating through the ring portion, in which the set of slots only includes the first slot, or includes the first slot and the second slot respectively located on two opposite sides. The set of slots cuts the ring portion to form a set of handle portions capable of being pulled up as the handle, in which the set of handle portions only includes the first handle portion, or includes the first handle portion and the second handle portion. The handle has a simple structure and is easy to fabricate. in addition, the ring portion is further provided with another set of slots penetrating through the ring portion, in which the another set of slots only includes the third slot, or includes the third slot and the fourth slot respectively located on another two opposite sides. The another set of slots cuts the ring portion to form another set of handle portions capable of being pulled up as the handle, in which the another set of handle portions only includes the third handle portion, or includes the third handle portion and the fourth handle portion). Multiple sets of slots may be used to provide a longer length for the whole handle.
- Although the invention has been described in terms of the preferred embodiments, it is not limited thereto.
