Thebracelet 12 has anoutside surface 18, theholster 16 has anouter wall 20 and theouter wall 20 has atop edge 22 defining an opening 24 into an interior of theholster 16. Theouter wall 20 has afront side 26 and aback side 28, and theback side 28 is coupled to theoutside surface 18 of thebracelet 12. Thetop edge 22 has a pair ofangled sides 30 each angling downwardly on thefront side 26 of theouter wall 20, and theangled sides 30 intersect at a point that is centrally positioned on thefront side 26 to define anaperture space 32 in thefront side 26. - A
cartridge 34 is provided that contains afluid sanitizer 36 and thecartridge 34 is insertable into theholster 16. Thefluid sanitizer 36 may comprise any chemical sanitizer that is approved for use as a hand sanitizer. Thecartridge 34 has anupper end 38 and afront wall 40, and theupper end 38 is open into an interior of thecartridge 34. Thefront wall 40 has a dispensingaperture 42 extending into an interior of thecartridge 34, and the dispensingaperture 42 is positioned adjacent to theupper end 38. The dispensingaperture 42 is aligned with theaperture space 32 on thefront side 26 of theouter wall 20 of theholster 16 when thecartridge 34 is inserted into theholster 16. - A
pumping unit 44 is provided and thepumping unit 44 is insertable into thecartridge 34 such that thepumping unit 44 is in fluid communication with thefluid sanitizer 36 contained in thecartridge 34. Thepumping unit 44 is actuatable into a pumping condition having thepumping unit 44 producing a pre-determined amount of pressure. In this way thepumping unit 44 can dispense a pre-determined volume of thefluid sanitizer 36 when thepumping unit 44 is actuated. Thepumping unit 44 comprises apump 46 that has aninput 48 and anoutput 50. Thepump 46 may comprise a manually operated fluid pump of any conventional design. - The
pumping unit 44 includes abutton 52 that has alower side 54 and afront side 56, and thelower side 54 is movably integrated into thepump 46 such that thebutton 52 can be manipulated by the user. Thefront side 56 of thebutton 52 has aspray nozzle 58 that is fluidly integrated therein, and thespray nozzle 58 is in fluid communication with theoutput 50 of thepump 46. Moreover, thespray nozzle 58 is aligned with the dispensingaperture 42 in thefront wall 40 of theholster 16 when thepumping unit 44 is inserted into thecartridge 34. - The
pumping unit 44 includes atube 60 that is fluidly coupled to theinput 48. Thetube 60 extends into thecartridge 34 when thepumping unit 44 is inserted into thecartridge 34. In this way thetube 60 can be submerged in thefluid sanitizer 36. Thepump 46 urges air inwardly through theinput 48 and outwardly through theoutput 50 when thebutton 52 is depressed. In this way thepump 46 can spray thefluid sanitizer 36 outwardly through thespray nozzle 58 thereby facilitating thefluid sanitizer 36 to be applied to the user. - In an
alternative embodiment 62 is most clearly shown inFIGS. 6 and 7 , abox 64 is provided that hastop side 66, and thetop side 66 has an opening 68 extending into an interior of thebox 64. Thebox 64 contains a plurality ofbeads 70 and each of thebeads 70 is hollow. Each of thebeads 70 contains a measured amount of thefluid sanitizer 36 and each of thebeads 70 is comprised of a rupturable material. In this way each of thebeads 70 can release thefluid sanitizer 36 when thebeads 70 are ruptured. Each of thebeads 70 is dispensable through theopening 68 in thetop side 66 of thebox 64. Adoor 72 is slidably integrated into thetop side 66 of thebox 64 and thedoor 72 is positionable in a closed position having thedoor 72 covering theopening 68 in thetop side 66. Conversely, thedoor 72 is positionable in an open position having thedoor 72 exposing theopening 68 in thetop side 66. - In use, the
bracelet 12 is worn on the user'swrist 14 and thebutton 52 is depressed whenever the user wishes to dispense thefluid sanitizer 36. A pre-determined volume of thefluid sanitizer 36 is sprayed outwardly from thespray nozzle 58 when thebutton 52 is depressed. In this way the user can sanitize their hands any time they touch a doorknob, a countertop or any other surface upon which bacteria and viruses might exist. Thus, the user can reduce the likelihood of contacting an infectious disease as the result of touching surfaces upon which bacteria or viruses are located. Thepumping unit 44 can be removed from thecartridge 34 to facilitate thecartridge 34 to be refilled with thefluid sanitizer 36. - With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
- Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
