Abstract

The present invention provides an arrangement for securing plate-like material, having a carrier, on which the plate-like material is arranged in a stack, at least one retaining means, which extends around the plate-like material and the carrier for the purpose of securing the plate-like material, and at least one angled securing device which has a first and a second leg and is arranged at a corner of the plate-like material, encloses two sides of the plate-like material in certain regions, and is arranged fixedly by means of the at least one retaining means on the plate-like material for the purpose of securing the plate-like material to one of the two legs.

Description

  • The present invention relates to an arrangement for securing plate-like material. In particular, the present invention relates to an arrangement for securing plate-like material, such as e.g. a metal sheet, which has a high degree of security against slipping of the plate-like material during its transport and moreover is cost-effective.
  • DE 92 09 708 U1 describes an apparatus for transporting one metal sheet or metal sheets stacked one on top of one another in multiple layers that has a retaining means, which can be fixed on the transporting means and extends over the exposed surface of the metal sheet transversely to the longitudinal axis of the metal sheet, wherein the retaining means consists of steel strip, which can be fastened on the mounting face over a determined length, and extending over part of the exposed surface of the metal sheet is at least one free end of the strip, which can be braced by the transporting means or by the other free end of the strip.
  • When transporting plate-like material, such as e.g. metal sheets, a problem exists in that the plate-like material can be secured against slipping during transport or storage and logistics operations of the plate-like material only with a high outlay. It is often the case that a multiplicity of retaining means and/or clamping devices have to be used to secure the plate-like material in all spatial directions.
  • The object of the present invention is therefore to provide an improved arrangement for securing plate-like material, which has a high degree of security against slipping of the plate-like material during its transport and moreover is cost-effective.
  • DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention provides an arrangement for securing plate-like material according to Patent claim 1. Advantageous refinements are the subject matter of the dependent claims.
  • Accordingly, there is provision for:
  • An arrangement for securing plate-like material, having a carrier, on which the plate-like material is arranged in a stack, at least one retaining means, which extends around the plate-like material and the carrier for the purpose of securing the plate-like material, and at least one angled securing device which has a first and a second leg and is arranged at a corner of the plate-like material, encloses two sides of the plate-like material in certain regions, and is arranged fixedly by means of the at least one retaining means on the plate-like material for the purpose of securing the plate-like material to one of the two legs.
  • On account of the angled securing device, it is possible to provide a high degree of security against slipping of the plate-like material during transport or storage and logistics operations of the plate-like material. Moreover, the solution according to the invention is cost-effective, since it is not necessary for the plate-like material to be longitudinally bundled and transversely bundled on the carrier. The retaining means fixes the angled securing device by virtue of the friction that arises between the retaining means, the angled securing device and the plate-like material. The term “plate-like material” also includes panel-like material or sheet-like material. The term “in a stack” similarly includes lying one on top of the other, lying one above the other and layered.
  • According to one embodiment of the present invention, the plate-like material is a metal sheet. The plate-like material is a steel sheet, for example. The plate-like material can, however, also include flagstones, plastic plates, wooden boards, glass plates or the like.
  • According to a further embodiment, in the angled securing device, the first leg has a shorter form than the second leg. This formation of the angled securing device makes it possible to save material costs. It is also possible in this way to adapt the angled securing device effectively to the plate-like material in terms of size and stiffness.
  • According to a further embodiment, in the angled securing device, the first leg and the second leg are arranged at an angle of 90° degrees to one another.
  • According to a further embodiment, the angled securing device is formed from metal and/or plastic. The angled securing device may also be formed from other materials which have similar properties to metal or plastic. By way of example, the angled securing device may be formed from a steel sheet, a thermoplastic or a thermoset.
  • According to a further embodiment, the angled securing device has a rubber lining at least on one side. The rubber lining can be provided, for example, on the side facing the retaining means and/or on the side facing the plate-like material.
  • According to a further embodiment, the at least one retaining means is formed from metal, plastic and/or a fibre. By way of example, the retaining means is formed from a steel sheet, a thermoset, a thermoplastic or an elastomer.
  • According to a further embodiment, the carrier is a Europool pallet. This embodiment makes it possible to reduce the costs for producing the arrangement.
  • According to a further embodiment, provided in the carrier is at least one groove, into which the angled securing device can be pushed. This embodiment makes it possible to improve the stability of the angled securing device and of the entire arrangement.
  • Provided according to a further embodiment is an arrangement for securing plate-like material that has a carrier, on which the plate-like material is arranged in a stack, at least one retaining means, which extends around the plate-like material and the carrier for the purpose of securing the plate-like material, and at least one angled securing device which has a first, a second and a third leg, wherein the first, second and third legs are each arranged orthogonally with respect to one another, is arranged at a corner of the plate-like material, encloses three sides of the plate-like material in certain regions, and is arranged fixedly by means of the at least one retaining means on the plate-like material for the purpose of securing the plate-like material to one of the three legs.
  • The present invention will be explained in more detail below with reference to the exemplary embodiments specified in the schematic figures of the drawings,
  • in which:
