Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to a stick type cosmetic container, and more particularly, to a stick type cosmetic container with a closed structure, in which portions between an operating member installed to a body and a guide tube and between the operating member and a tool coupling member are sealed by first and second sealing rings, respectively, in order to eject a stick cosmetic or couple a makeup tool, and an inlet portion of the guide tube is sealed by a first over-cap, so that the sealing inside the body is stably maintained.
  • 2. Description of the Related Art
  • With the advent of modern society, the demand for cosmetics is increased regardless of the age and gender. These cosmetics may be divided into basic cosmetics for imparting a moisturizing effect to a skin while supplying nutrition and color cosmetics for arranging a skin tone or emphasizing specific areas, depending on the purpose thereof.
  • The color cosmetics may be divided into base makeup cosmetics for hiding skin blemishes and making uniform skin tones, and point makeup cosmetics for emphasizing areas such as lips, cheeks, and eyes by providing colors thereto. Examples of the base makeup cosmetics include a foundation and a powder, and examples of the point makeup cosmetics include a blusher, a lipstick, an eyeliner, and a mascara.
  • Among the color cosmetics, products such as foundations and blushers are accommodated in a solid state in a dish-shaped container with a wide opening, and the makeup is mainly performed by using a puff.
  • In other words, a cosmetic container in which a powder such as a foundation or a blusher is provided in a solid state includes a container for accommodating the contents, a lid coupled to the container by a hinge shaft so as to be opened and closed, and a puff formed between the container and the lid to apply the contents to the skin. Accordingly, the user may use the cosmetics by putting the contents on the puff and applying the contents to the skin after opening the lid.
  • However, the above conventional cosmetic container has an inconvenience in use because a user has to take the puff to put the cosmetics accommodated in the container on the puff in order to apply the cosmetics to the skin, and there are several problems and cumbersome because it is necessary to additionally provide the cosmetic tool such as the puff which may be easily lost.
  • In order to solve the above problems, a stick type foundation container is disclosed in Korean Registered Utility Model No. 20-0479031. The above related art discloses a stick type foundation container in which a foundation stick and a puff are integrated to ensure portability and cleanliness and which is provided with a removable brush puff that can be used repeatedly in a clean state after washing, wherein a brush puff is coupled to one side of a fixed body, a foundation stick, which is withdrawn to an outside or retreated into an inside of the fixed body by a rotating operation of a rotation body and an operating portion screwed to each other, is formed at the other side of the fixed body, and the brush puff and the foundation stick are opened or closed by first and second caps.
  • However, according to the conventional foundation stick, the operating portion installed inside the fixed body, the rotation body screwed to an outer portion of the operating portion, and the second cap for opening or closing the rotation body are not sealed. Thus, when used or stored for a long time, the moisture of the foundation stick accommodated inside the rotation body may evaporate and dry out, thereby causing the foundation stick to be deformed or broken.
  • Accordingly, there is a need to develop a solid cosmetic container in which solid cosmetics and a cosmetic tool are integrated to have portability and cleanliness while maintaining the sealing performance.

  • The stick type cosmetic container with a closed structure according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 7.
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the cosmetic container according to the embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of the stick type cosmetic container according to the embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 3 is a sectional view of the stick type cosmetic container according to the embodiment of the present invention.
  • As shown in the drawings, the stick type cosmetic container according to one embodiment of the present invention may include a body 10, an operating member 20, a guide tube 30, a cosmetic dish 40, a tool coupling member 50, and first and second over-caps 60 and 70.
  • As shown in FIG. 2, the body 10 has a cylindrical shape opened at upper and lower portions thereof to allow the stick cosmetic S to be ejected to the outside or inserted to the inside of the body.
  • A body inner wall 11 extends downward from the inside the body 10. At least one rotation operating groove 12 is formed at an end of the body inner wall 11, so that the rotation operating groove 12 transmits a rotational movement of the body 10 to the operating member 20.
  • In addition, as shown in FIG. 3, a first seating step 14 is formed on an opened upper inner periphery of the body so that the guide tube 30 is seated thereon, and a second seating step 16 is formed on an opened lower inner periphery so that a seating protrusion wheel 56 of the tool coupling member 50 is seated thereon.
  • The operating member 20 is formed in a hollow tube shape, coupled to the inner side of the body 10, and rotatably operated together with the body 10.
  • A protrusion portion 21 extends horizontally from an outer periphery of the operating member 20. At least one rotation operating protrusion 22 protrudes outward from the protrusion portion 21, and the rotation operating protrusion 22 is inserted into the rotation operating groove 12 of the body 10. Accordingly, when the user rotates the body 10, the operating member 20 is rotated together with the body 10.
  • In addition, a first sealing ring insertion groove 23 and a second sealing ring insertion groove 25 are formed on upper and lower outer peripheries of the protrusion portion 21 of the operating member 20, so that the first and second sealing ring insertion grooves 23 and 25 are fitted with first and second sealing rings R1 and R2 formed of elastic materials, respectively.
  • More specifically, as shown in the partially enlarged view of FIG. 3, the first sealing ring R1 comes into close contact with an inner periphery of the guide tube 30 while being fitted in the first sealing ring insertion groove 23 of the operating member 20, and the second sealing ring R2 comes into close contact with an inner periphery of the first extension protrusion 53 of the tool coupling member 50 while being fitted in the second sealing ring insertion groove 25 of the operating member 20. In other words, a gap between the operating member 20 and the guide tube 30 is sealed by the first sealing ring R1, and a gap between the operating member 20 and the tool coupling member 50 is sealed by the second sealing ring R2. Since the first sealing ring R1 is positioned between the operating member 20 and the guide tube 30, the first sealing ring R1 may serve to improve the rotational feeling of the operating member 20 rotated together with the body 10 when the body 10 is rotated, and serve to prevent the guide tube 30 from shaking when the operating member 20 is rotated.
  • The first sealing ring R1 and the second sealing ring R2 are formed of a soft material to improve the sealing force inside the stick type cosmetic container, and may be formed of at least one of materials including nitrile-butadiene rubber (NBR), urethane rubber, natural rubber, elastomer, and silicone, or at least one of elastic materials including polypropylene, polyethylene, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), and thermo-plastic elastomer (TPE). The first and second sealing rings R1 and R2 are not limited to the above-described materials, and may be formed of various materials within a range having a predetermined elasticity.
  • In addition, a screw protrusion 24 is formed on an inner periphery of the operating member 20 and coupled to a screw groove 44 a of the cosmetic dish 40.
  • The guide tube 30 is rotatably coupled to the opened upper portion of the body 10 so as to extend upward, thereby guiding movements of the cosmetic dish 40 inserted therein.
  • In other words, as shown in FIG. 3, the guide tube 30 is undercut coupled to the inner periphery of the body 10 and undercut coupled to the outer periphery of the operating member 20, so as to be rotated in place without being separated from the body 10 and the operating member 20.
  • The drawing of the stick type cosmetic container according to one embodiment of the present invention shows that the body 10 is undercut coupled to the guide tube 30 and the operation member 20 is undercut coupled to the guide tube 30, but it is not limited thereto, and various coupling structures may be implemented within the range of allowing the guide tube 30 to be easily rotated without being separated from the body 10.
  • In addition, the guide tube 30 is formed at one side thereof with an inlet portion for ejecting or inserting the cosmetic stick S, and an opposite side of the inlet portion 32 is seated on the first seating step 14 of the body 10.
  • As shown in FIG. 2, an anti-rotation protrusion 36 may be formed on the inner periphery of the guide tube 30. The anti-rotation protrusion 36 is formed vertically, that is, elongates in a moving direction of the cosmetic dish 40, and is inserted into an anti-rotation groove 46 formed on an outer periphery of the cosmetic dish 40.
  • The cosmetic dish 40 is inserted into the inside of the guide tube 30 and coupled to the inside of the operating member 20, thereby moving along the guide tube 30 by the rotational operation of the operating member 20.
  • The cosmetic dish 40 may include a dish portion 42 and a screw coupling portion 44 extending downward from the dish portion 42.
  • The stick cosmetic S is attached to the dish portion 42, so that the stick cosmetic S is ejected outward from the body 10 or drawn inward by linear movements of the dish portion 42.
  • The anti-rotation groove 46 may be formed vertically along an outer periphery of the dish portion 42, so that the anti-rotation protrusion 36 of the guide tube 30 is inserted into the anti-rotation groove 46. Accordingly, when the user rotates the body 10, the cosmetic dish 40 is fixed together with the guide tube 30 without being idle in the guide tube 30.
  • In addition, the screw groove 44 a is formed on an outer periphery of the screw coupling portion 44, in which as the screw coupling portion 44 is inserted into a center of the operating member 20 the screw groove 44 a formed on the outer periphery of the screw coupling portion 44 is screwed to the screw protrusion 24 formed on the inner periphery of the operating member 20.
  • A coupling hole 48 may be formed inside the screw coupling portion 44, and a sealing plug 80 may be coupled to the coupling hole 48. As shown in FIG. 3, the sealing plug 80 may complement the sealing of a lower portion of the cosmetic dish 40, and may include a disc-shaped sealing portion 82 and a fitting portion 84 extending from one side of the sealing portion 82 and fitted into the coupling hole 48.
  • The sealing plug 80 may be formed of at least one of elastic materials including polyethylene, polypropylene, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), and thermos-plastic elastomer (TPE).
  • The tool coupling member 50 is fixedly coupled to the lower portion of the body 10, that is, an opposite side of the guide tube 30, and a makeup tool 90 is coupled to the inside of the tool coupling member 50.
  • A tool coupling groove 52 is formed in a center of the tool coupling member 50, and a first extension protrusion wheel 53 and a second extension protrusion wheel 55 may extend in the body 10 and be spaced apart outward from the tool coupling groove 52 at a predetermined distance.
  • A thread is formed in the tool coupling groove 52, the second sealing ring R2 fitted to the operating member 20 comes into close contact with the inner periphery of the first extension protrusion 53, and the outer periphery of the second extension protrusion 55 comes into close contact with the inner periphery of the body 10.
  • In addition, the seating protrusion wheel 56 protrudes from an outer periphery of the tool coupling member 50 so as to be seated on the second seating step 16 of the body 10.
  • The makeup tool 90 serves as a tool for applying the stick cosmetic S onto a skin, and may include a tool body 92 and an application portion 94, and an alignment portion 96.
  • A coupling rod 92 a protrudes from a center of the tool body 92, in which a thread may be formed on an outer periphery of the coupling rod 92 a so as to be screwed to the thread formed in the tool coupling groove 52 of the tool coupling member 50. In other words, the structure for ejecting the stick cosmetic S is formed on one side of the body 10, and the makeup tool 90 is detachably coupled to the other side thereof, so that the stick type cosmetic container can be used more conveniently and hygienically, and the makeup tool 90 can be easily replaced.
  • As shown in FIG. 2, a movement guide groove 92 b configured to guide movements of the alignment portion 96 may be formed vertically on an outer periphery of the tool body 92 in a moving direction of the alignment portion 96, and a movement limiting protrusion 92 c may be formed in the movement guide groove 92 b to temporarily limit the movements of the alignment portion 96.
  • In addition, the application portion 94 is planted inside the tool body 92, and at least a part of the application portion 94 may be exposed to the outside from the tool body 92.
  • The application portion 94 may be formed of a brush, puff or the like, and may be configured in various forms according to the type of the stick cosmetic S accommodated in the stick cosmetic ejection container, the makeup method, or the like.
  • In addition, the alignment portion 96 is vertically and movably coupled to an outer side of the tool body 92 while surrounding the application portion 94.
  • A locking step 96 a protrudes outward from one end of the alignment portion 96 and is seated on an end of the tool coupling member 50. In addition, a movement guide protrusion 96 b protrudes from an inner periphery of the alignment portion 96. The movement guide protrusion 96 b is inserted into the movement guide groove 92 b of the tool body 92 to guide linear movements of the alignment portion 96, and the movements are restricted while being latched by the movement limiting protrusion 92 c of the tool body 92 so as to prevent from moving regardless of the user's intention when the alignment portion 96 is completely ejected from or inserted by the tool body 92.
  • In other words, the alignment portion 96 collects the application portion 94, which is opened outward, to a center thereof while linearly moving from the tool body 92 to the exposed part of the application portion. More specifically, when the user tries to couple the second over-cap 70 to one side of the body 10, the application portion 94 opened outward is collected to the center while withdrawing the alignment portion 96 from the tool body 92 so that the application portion 94 may be easily inserted into the second over-cap 70. When the user intends to put on makeup, the tool body 92 is inserted to the inside of the alignment portion 96 to prevent the makeup from interfering with the alignment portion 96 and allow the application portion 94 to be opened outward so as to be suitable for spreading the cosmetic on the skin.
  • As shown in FIG. 3, the first and second over-caps 60 and 70 are coupled to both sides of the body 10, respectively.
  • The first over-cap 60 is detachably coupled to the body 10 while surrounding the guide tube 30, so that the guide tube 30 and the stick cosmetic S accommodated in the guide tube 30 are protected.
  • A sealing member 62 may be provided in an inner upper end of the first over-cap 60. When the body 10 is coupled to the first over-cap 60, the sealing member 62 comes into close contact with an upper outer periphery of the guide tube 30 while covering the inlet portion 32 of the guide tube 30, thereby sealing the inside of the guide tube 30.
  • In addition, the sealing member 62 may include a coupling portion 62 a fixedly coupled to the first over-cap 60, and a tight contact portion 62 b extending downward from the coupling portion 62 a to come into close contact with the upper outer periphery of the guide tube 30. An inner diameter of the tight contact portion 62 b may be formed equal to or smaller than an outer diameter of the guide tube 30 such that the tight contact portion 62 b of the sealing member 62 may be tightly fitted to the upper portion of the guide tube 30.
  • In addition, like the sealing plug 80, the sealing member 62 may be formed of at least one of elastic materials including polyethylene, polypropylene, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), and thermos-plastic elastomer (TPE).
  • In other words, since there is no sealing between the body, the operating portion and the dish of the stick type cosmetic container in the related art, moisture of the stick cosmetics accommodated in the body is evaporated and dried out when the stick type cosmetic is used or stored for a long time. Accordingly, the stick cosmetic is cracked and deformed or damaged.
  • As shown in the partially enlarged view of FIG. 7, the stick type cosmetic container according to one embodiment of the present invention has a sealing structure in which the gap between the operating member 20 and the guide tube 30 is sealed by the first sealing ring R1, the gap between the operating member 20 and the tool coupling member 50 is sealed by the second sealing ring R2, and the inlet portion 32 of the guide tube 30 is sealed by the sealing member 62 of the first over-cap 60.
  • In other words, a sealing structure is provided in three portions of the stick cosmetic S, that is, the portion between the operating member 20 and the guide tube 30, the portion between the operating member 20 and the tool coupling member 50, and the inlet portion 32 of the guide tube 30. Accordingly, the sealing inside the body 10 is stably maintained when the stick type cosmetic container is stored or carried so that the stick cosmetic S accommodated in the body 10 can be prevented from being deformation or damaged.
  • The second over-cap 70 is detachably coupled to the body 10 while surrounding the application portion 94 of the makeup tool 90, so that the application portion 94 can be protected from contamination due to external foreign substances.
  • The drawing of the stick type cosmetic container according to one embodiment of the present invention shows that the body 10 is fastened to the first and second over-caps 60 and 70 by using the protrusion and the groove, but it is not limited thereto, and various fastening structures, such as undercut coupling, forced fitting coupling, or magnet and magnetic substance-driven coupling, may be implemented within the range of allowing the first and second over-caps 60 and 70 to be easily coupled to or separated from the body 10.
  • FIGS. 4 to 7 are views illustrating the use of the stick type cosmetic container according to one embodiment of the present invention. The process of using the stick type cosmetic container according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the above drawings.
  • FIG. 4 is a sectional view illustrating a state in which the first over-cap is separated from the body according to the embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 5 is a sectional view illustrating a state in which the body is rotated to eject the stick cosmetic to the outside according to the embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 6 is a sectional view illustrating a state in which the second over-cap is separated from the body according to the embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 7 is a sectional view of the stick type cosmetic container that is completely used according to the embodiment of the present invention.
  • In order to use the stick type cosmetic container according to one embodiment of the present invention, first, the first over-cap 60 is separated from the body 10 to expose the guide tube 30 to the outside as shown in FIG. 4.
  • Then, as shown in FIG. 5 when the guide tube 30 is held with one hand and the body 10 is rotated by using the other hand, the operating member 20 coupled to the inner side of the body 10 is rotated together with the body 10.
  • Since the operating member 20 is rotated but the rotation of the cosmetic dish 40 is restricted by the guide tube 30 held by the user, the cosmetic dish 40 moves upward along the guide tube 30 and thus the stick cosmetic S attached to the cosmetic dish 40 is ejected to the outside through the inlet portion 32 of the guide tube 30.
  • Then, after the stick cosmetic S ejected to the outside of the guide tube 30 is applied to the skin, the stick cosmetic S is inserted into the guide tube 30 by rotating the body 10 in the opposite direction, and thus the body 10 is coupled and closed by the first over-cap 30 while the guide tube 30 is covered by the first over-cap 30.
  • Meanwhile, when the user intends to use the makeup tool 90 to widely spread the cosmetic applied to the skin, the second over-cap 70 is separated from the body 10 to expose the makeup tool 90 to the outside as shown in FIG. 6.
  • Then, the cosmetic is widely spread while the application portion 94 of the makeup tool 90 is put and rubbed on the skin applied with the cosmetic.
  • After the makeup is completed, the alignment portion 96 of the makeup tool 90 is pulled out from the tool body 92 to collect the application portion 96 to the center, and the second over-cap 70 is coupled to the body 10 while covering the makeup tool 90 so as to be stored or carried.
  • As shown in the partially enlarged view of FIG. 7, the gap between the operating member 20 and the guide tube 30 is sealed by the first sealing ring R1, the gap between the operating member 20 and the tool coupling member 50 is sealed by the second sealing ring R2, and the inlet portion 32 of the guide tube 30 is sealed by the sealing member 62 of the first over-cap 60.
  • Although the invention has been described with the particulars such as specific elements, the limited embodiments, and the drawings, which are provided only to help comprehensive understanding of the invention, and the present invention is not limited to the embodiments. It is obvious to those skilled in the art that various changes and modifications may be made.
  • Therefore, the spirit of the present invention should not be limited to the aforementioned embodiments, and the following claims as well as all modifications or variations belonging to the equivalents of the claims will be within the scope of the invention.
