- The disclosure and prior art relates to carry cases and more particularly pertains to a new carry case for maintaining and transporting false eyelashes.
- An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a lower case body having a lower front side separated from a lower rear side, a lower left side separated from a lower right side, a lower bottom side, and an open top side. The lower front side, lower rear side, lower left side, lower right side, and lower bottom side form a lower cavity. An upper case body has a upper front side separated from a upper rear side, a upper left side separated from a upper right side, an upper top side, and an open bottom side. The upper front side, upper rear side, upper left side, upper right side, and upper top side form an upper cavity. A hinge mechanism is coupled to the lower rear side and the upper rear side to allow the upper case body to swingably open to an open position and alternatively close to an alternate closed position sealing the lower cavity and the upper cavity. An upper eyelash holder is coupled to the lower case body within the lower cavity and has a raised perimeter, a raised center, and a pair of depressions extending between the raised perimeter and the raised center. The pair of depressions is configured to secure and match the shape of a pair of false upper eyelashes. A lower eyelash holder is coupled within the upper cavity. The lower eyelash holder has a recessed center and a pair of protrusions extending from the recessed center to the upper left side and the upper right side. The recessed center receives the raised center of the upper eyelash holder and the pair of protrusions is received by the pair of depressions when the upper case body is in the closed position. The pair of protrusions is configured to secure and match the shape of a pair of false lower eyelashes.
- There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
- The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.
- The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:
-
FIG. 1 is an isometric view of a false eyelash carry case according to an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 2 is a top plan view of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 3 is a side elevation view of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 4 is a rear elevation view of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view of an embodiment of the disclosure along line 5-5 ofFIG. 4 . - With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
FIGS. 1 through 5 thereof, a new carry case embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by thereference numeral 10 will be described. - As best illustrated in
FIGS. 1 through 5 , the falseeyelash carry case 10 generally comprises alower case body 12 having alower front side 14 separated from a lowerrear side 16, a lowerleft side 18 separated from a lowerright side 20, alower bottom side 22, and anopen top side 24. Thelower front side 14, lowerrear side 16, lowerleft side 18, lowerright side 20, andlower bottom side 22 form alower cavity 26. Anupper case body 28 has aupper front side 30 separated from a upperrear side 32, a upperleft side 34 separated from a upperright side 36, anupper top side 38, and anopen bottom side 40. Theupper front side 30, upperrear side 32, upperleft side 34, upperright side 36, andupper top side 38 form anupper cavity 42. Ahinge mechanism 44 is coupled to thelower case body 12 and theupper case body 28. The hinge mechanism is coupled to the lowerrear side 16 and the upperrear side 32 to allow theupper case body 28 to swingably open to anopen position 46 and alternatively close to an alternate closedposition 48 sealing thelower cavity 26 and theupper cavity 42. Aclasp 50 may be coupled to theupper front side 30 and aclasp receptacle 52 may coupled within thelower front side 14. Theclasp 50 is selectively engageable with theclasp receptacle 52 to secure theupper case body 28 in the closedposition 48. - An
upper eyelash holder 54 is coupled within thelower cavity 26 and has a raisedperimeter 56, a raisedcenter 58, and a pair ofdepressions 60 extending between the raisedperimeter 56 and the raisedcenter 58. Each of the pair ofdepressions 60 may be semi-annular. The pair ofdepressions 60 is configured to secure and match the shape of a pair of falseupper eyelashes 62. Alower eyelash holder 64 is coupled within theupper cavity 42 and has arecessed center 66 and a pair ofprotrusions 68 extending from therecessed center 66 to the upperleft side 34 and the upperright side 36. Therecessed center 66 receives the raisedcenter 58 of the upper eyelash holder and the pair ofprotrusions 68 is received by the pair ofdepressions 60 when theupper case body 28 is in the closedposition 48. Each of the pair ofprotrusions 68 may be semi-annular. The pair ofprotrusions 68 is configured to secure and match the shape of a pair of falselower eyelashes 70. In the closedposition 48, each of the pair of falselower eyelashes 70 and the pair of falseupper eyelashes 62 are held between the pair ofprotrusions 68 and the pair ofdepressions 60 to maintain their shape. - There may be a plurality of
eyelash adhesives 72 comprising a pair ofupper eyelash adhesives 74 coupled to theupper eyelash holder 54 proximal the raisedcenter 58 and a pair oflower eyelash adhesives 76 coupled to thelower eyelash holder 64 adjacent the recessedcenter 66. The pair ofupper eyelash adhesives 74 is configured to secure the pair of falseupper eyelashes 62 and the pair oflower eyelash adhesives 76 is configured to secure the pair of falselower eyelashes 70. Around mirror 78 may be coupled to therecessed center 66 of the lower eyelash holder to aid a user in applying the pair of falseupper eyelashes 62 and the pair of falselower eyelashes 70. - In use, a user removes the pair of false
upper eyelashes 62 and the pair of falselower eyelashes 70 from his or her eyes and places them into the pair ofdepressions 60 of the upper eyelash holder and onto the pair ofprotrusions 68 of the lower eyelash holder, respectively. Theupper case body 12 is then moved from theopen position 46 to the closedposition 48 to safely store the pair of falselower eyelashes 70 and the pair of falseupper eyelashes 62. - With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
- Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
