Definitions

  • the invention is in the field of foodstuffs, and in particular that of single-serve beverage and beverage additive receptacles.
  • Single-serve beverage receptacles can be filled with a first content to be poured into a principal receptacle itself containing a second content to obtain a mixture.
  • single-serve beverage receptacles in the form of fluid-tight sachets contain syrup intended to be poured into a bottle of water.
  • the bottle of water must have a free volume sufficient to receive the content of the single-serve beverage receptacle without overflowing.
  • the user may through clumsiness pour the content of the single-serve beverage receptacle down the side of the principal receptacle. The use of such single-serve beverage receptacles is hardly practical.
