Description
- The present invention relates to a dual-head fan which can adjust air outflowing from its one or two fan heads, air volume and airflow direction so as to achieve the desired blowing effect.
- The current fan has only one single function and one air outflowing direction which is inconvenient in use. For instance, the Taiwan Pat. No. TW M306279(U), issued on 11 Feb. 2007, has disclosed a bidirectional fan structure having an axis. It comprises an axis and two impellers disposed at two ends of the axis respectively. Curved surfaces of plural fan blades of the two impellers are opposite to each other. The axis is connected to a motor so that the two impellers are synchronously driven to rotate when the motor is activated. The two impellers generate airflows with opposite directions and forming bidirectional airflow including exhaust airflow and suction airflow at the same time. However, air outflowing directions of the bidirectional fan structure cannot be regulated due to the two impellers fixing at two ends of the axis.
- The China Pat. No. CN107461357(A), published on 12 Dec. 2017, has disclosed a double-ended fan which comprises a bidirectional head-shaking mechanism driven by a motor and slowed down by a reduction gear. The reduction gear comprises two gears at a tail end to form a crank. The reduction gear drives the crank to move and then the crank further drives a bevel gear to move. Accordingly, the double-ended fan can shake the head in multi-directions by the direction-changing characteristic of the bevel gear. However, the abovementioned double-ended fan has a complicated structure and a high production cost.
- The present invention relates to a dual-head fan which can adjust air outflowing from its one or two fan heads, air volume and airflow direction so as to achieve the desired blowing effect.
- The dual-head fan of the present invention comprises a drum fan, a first wind shell, an outer shield, a moving panel, a supporting plate, an air duct baffle, a second wind shell, a lower outlet shell, an upper outlet shell, and the upper outlet shell which is rotatably connected on upper sides of the second wind shell and the lower outlet shell to regulate airflow direction by rotation. The first wind shell is disposed on an upper side of the drum fan; the outer shield is disposed on one side of the first wind shell; the moving panel is accommodated in the first wind shell; and the supporting plate is disposed at a top of the first wind shell. The supporting plate has a hollow portion at its center and an engaging part disposed in a middle of the hollow portion and engaged with an upper end of the moving panel by its one side. The other side of the engaging part is engaged with a lower end of the air duct baffle. The second wind shell and the lower outlet shell are connected to two laterals of the air duct baffle respectively, and the lower outlet shell is provided with a top surface.
- According to an embodiment of the present invention, the drum fan comprises a seat, an impeller disposed at the seat, and a lid covered on the seat.
- According to an embodiment of the present invention, a lateral surface of the first wind shell is provided with a protruding portion, and the outer shield is provided with a groove corresponding to the protruding portion for engagement.
- According to an embodiment of the present invention, the lower outlet shell and the upper outlet shell are provided with a first outlet and a second outlet respectively.
- The dual-head fan of the present invention adjusts air outflowing from one or two fan heads and air volume of the first outlet and the second outlet by swinging the moving panel. Furthermore, the upper outlet shell can be rotated to adjust airflow direction. Accordingly, the present invention achieves various air outflowing effects and improves its practicality.
