Description
- The present invention relates generally to an engaging member and an attachable bag having the same, and more particularly to an engaging member for connecting a bag body to a wearable object in various ways, and an attachable bag with the engaging member.
- Wearable objects such as backpacks or bumbags allow users to carry a variety of items with them. However, the backpack or the bumbag has a certain capacity, so that the user has to carry more backpacks or bumbags for carrying more objects. Carrying multiple independent backpacks or bumbags are inconvenient for the user. In addition, a size of a backpack is too large for some items. When such items are placed in the backpack, it is difficult for the user to retrieve the items.
- Therefore, some manufacturers in the industry have developed a technology that allows a smaller handbag being attached to a backpack. A conventional wearable object such as backpack is provided with a ring on an exterior surface, and a smaller handbag is also provided with a ring, so that the handbag could be attached to the backpack by a retaining clip which passes through the ring of the backpack and the ring of the handbag, whereby to provide more receiving space. Also, small items can be placed in the handbag for easily retrieving. In this way, the user should wear only one wearable object, and the total amount of items that user can carry is expanded, which provides a better convenience.
- Said small bag and said large wearable object are engaged with each other via the ring and the retaining clip. However, such engagement must dispose a ring on both of the small bag and the large wearable object. In addition, such engagement cannot be applied to a small bag and a large wearable object which have different kinds of engaging structures from each other.
- For instance, if a user purchases a handbag and backpack having the same kind of engaging structure, the handbag can be attached to the backpack. However, when the user purchases another backpack having different kinds of engaging structure from that of the handbag, the handbag cannot be attached to the backpack, unless the user additionally purchases another handbag having the same kind of engaging structure with the another backpack, which reduces consumer's desire to buy.
- Therefore, there is a need for the manufacturers to develop an attachable bag with a variety of attached forms to solve the aforementioned problems.
- In view of the above, the primary objective of the present invention is to provide an engaging member for connecting a bag body to a wearable object in various ways, so that the bag body could be an attachable bag with a variety of attached forms to solve the problems of the prior art.
- The present invention provides an engaging member, which is adapted to connect a bag body to a wearable object and includes a receiving member and a covering member, wherein the receiving member is disposed on a reverse of the bag body. The receiving member has a first exterior surface and a receiving space, and a first engaging structure is formed on the first exterior surface. The covering member is disposed on the reverse of the bag body and is capable of covering the first exterior surface of the receiving member, and is capable of being entirely or partially received in the receiving space, wherein the covering member comprises a second exterior surface and an interior surface. A second engaging structure corresponding to the first engaging structure is formed on the interior surface. The second engaging structure is capable of being engaged with the first engaging structure. A third engaging structure different from the first engaging structure is formed on the second exterior surface. The third engaging structure is adapted to be engaged with the wearable object.
- In addition, the another primary objective of the present invention is to provide an attachable bag with a variety of attached forms to solve the problems of the prior art.
- The present invention further provides an attachable bag, which is adapted to be attached to a wearable object and includes a bag body and an engaging member, wherein the bag body includes an obverse and a reverse which is opposite to the obverse. The engaging member is disposed on the reverse of the bag body, wherein the engaging member includes a receiving member and a covering member. The receiving member is disposed on a reverse of the bag body.
- With the aforementioned design, the engaging member of the present invention could engage the attachable bag with the wearable object in various ways.
