  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • To provide a thorough understanding of the present invention, an exemplary embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
  • As showed in FIGS. 1-4, a ceiling mounted air purifier of the present invention comprises: a winnower (1), a base (2), a back shell (3), two air inlet filters (4), a filter cartridge container (5), and a front shell (6). The winnower (1) has two winnower air entrances (11) on two sides thereof, a winnower air exit (12), and a windshield (13) disposed between the winnower air exit (12) and the base (2). The base (2) has a recessed groove (21) disposed below a middle thereof for accommodating the winnower (1), two air inlet passages (22) shaped with frame-shaped structures and disposed on two sides of the recessed groove (21) respectively, and an integrated air exit (23) disposed at a top thereof and corresponding to the winnower air exit (12) of the winnower (1). The integrated air exit (23) of the base (2) is tightly connected to the winnower air exit (12) of the winnower (1) by the windshield (13). The back shell (3) is disposed at a bottom of the base (2) to position the winnower (1) in the recessed groove (21) and seal bottoms of the two air inlet passages (22). The two air inlet filters (4) are respectively inserted into exits of the two air inlet passages (22) and corresponding to the two winnower air entrances (11). The filter cartridge container (5) is disposed on the winnower air exit (12) of the winnower (1), and the front shell (6) disposed at the top of the base (2) to release filtered air.
  • The front shell (6) is provided with a fixed frame (61) shaped with a hollow portion in a middle thereof, a light cover (62) engaged with a top of the fixed frame (61), and an air outlet net (63) correspondingly disposed on the hollow portion of the fixed frame (61). The base (2) is disposed with plural hooks (7) on the top thereof for connecting to the front shell (6) detachably by clasping the fixed frame (61). The fixed frame (61) is further provided with a LED illumination element (8) and an air quality indicating unit (9).
  • Preferentially, the filter cartridge container (5) is connected to the winnower air exit (12) of the winnower (1) detachably by plural elastic hooks, so a filter cartridge container (5) can be popped out for maintenance or change of a filter cartridge by gently pressing the filter cartridge container (5).
  • As shown in FIG. 5, the air purifier of the present invention is mounted on a ceiling (10) in a way that the air outlet net (63) of the front shell (6) is faced to an interior space of a room, and the back shell (3) is disposed toward an interior space of the ceiling (10). After the ceiling mounted air purifier of the present invention is turned on, the air flows into the air inlet passages (22). After large dust particles in the air is filtered by the two air inlet filters (4) inserted into the exits of the air inlet passages (22), the filtered air is inhaled into the two winnower air entrances (11) by fan blades disposed on two sides of the winnower (1) and then purified by the filter cartridge accommodated within the filter cartridge container (5). The purified air is then released to the interior space of a room by passing through the integrated air exit (23) of the base (2) and the air outlet net (63). Except for the air entrances and the air outlets, the junction of the air inlet passages (22), the windshield (13), the integrated air exit (23) of the base (2) are tightly sealed, so the present invention achieves efficacy of increasing air pressure as well as enhancing effects of air release and filtration.
