Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION a) Field of the Invention
  • The invention relates to an exhaust accessory device for exhaust pipe and, more particularly, an exhaust accessory device for installing in an exhaust pipe of a vehicle exhaust pipe system, the exhausted emissions are provided to be filtered and burned for the second time to increase engine displacement efficiently and create a back pressure effect to assist engine for increasing horsepower.
  • b) Description of Prior Art
  • Due to the rise of environmental awareness, vehicle emissions should also be required to meet the requirements of low-carbon and low noise. Thus, in many vehicles, one or more oxygen sensors are set in an exhaust system of an exhaust pipe, an oxygen sensor is provided to detect condition of exhaust. When detecting that exhaust emissions exceed, the oxygen sensor is provided to transmit detection results to a vehicle computer, and the vehicle computer transmits a fault signal to force the vehicle owner to repair. However, detection of the oxygen sensor is sometimes distorted. The most common is that the engine exhaust is still within the normal range, but a fault signal is generated because the catalytic converter in the exhaust pipe blocks.
  • To investigate the reason, it is mainly because of the structure of the catalytic converter. Although the exhausted emissions could be efficiently filtered and burned for the first time by using some catalytic converters with a denser honeycomb structure, it is relatively easy to cause block, so as to affect vehicle exhaust emissions and engine operation. Under these circumstances, although the exhaust emissions are still within the normal range, the owners have to pay a higher maintenance costs. In order to solve the above problems, some manufacturers enlarge gaps of honeycomb structure of catalytic converters, and multiple oxygen sensors are provided to detect on front and rear ends. In this way, although the frequency of catalytic converters blocking may be improved, exhaust emissions would not be efficiently filtered and burned for the first time, and the efficiency of created back pressure effect is low.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • In view of this, the inventor finally completes the exhaust accessory device for exhaust pipe of the present invention after numerous improvements, namely, the object of the present invention is to provide an exhaust accessory device for installing in an exhaust pipe of a vehicle exhaust pipe system, the exhausted emissions are provided to be filtered and burned for the second time to increase engine displacement efficiently and create a back pressure effect to assist engine for increasing horsepower.
  • To achieve the above object according to the invention, the exhaust accessory device for exhaust pipe of the present invention, which is installed in an exhaust pipe system, includes an outer pipe, a front cover portion, a catalytic converter and a rear cover portion, wherein:
  • the outer pipe, which is a hollow housing including an accommodating space, an installation hole is set on the periphery of the outer pipe, the installation hole is provided for an oxygen sensor to install;
  • the front cover portion, which is covered on the front end of the outer pipe, the front cover portion includes a front cover and a front mesh casing, a front communication hole is set on the front cover, an end of the front mesh casing is set on the front communication hole;
  • the catalytic converter, which is installed in the accommodating space of the outer pipe, a central communication hole is set inside of the catalytic converter, an annular catalytic conversion element is set on the periphery of the central communication hole;
  • the rear cover portion, which is covered on the rear end of the outer pipe, a rear cover, a rear mesh casing and a sleeve, a rear communication hole is set on the rear cover, the rear mesh casing is set inside of the rear cover, a communication hole is set on the rear mesh casing, the sleeve is set inside of the communication hole.
  • Multiple mesh holes are set on the above front mesh casing.
  • Multiple mesh holes are set on the above rear mesh casing.
  • The above sleeve includes a through hole.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 is a three-dimensional exploded schematic diagram of the present invention;
  • FIG. 2 is a three-dimensional schematic diagram of the present invention; and
  • FIG. 3 is a sectional schematic diagram of assembly and motion of the present invention.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • Please refer to FIG. 1 to FIG. 3, the exhaust accessory device 1 for exhaust pipe of the present invention, which is installed in an exhaust pipe system of a vehicle, includes an outer pipe 11, a front cover portion 12, a catalytic converter 13 and a rear cover portion 14, wherein:
  • the outer pipe 11, which is a hollow housing including an accommodating space 110, an installation hole 111 is set on the periphery of the outer pipe 11, the installation hole 111 is provided for an oxygen sensor 2 to install;
  • the front cover portion 12, which is covered on the front end of the outer pipe 11, the front cover portion 12 includes a front cover 121 and a front mesh casing 122, a front communication hole 123 is set on the front cover 121, an end of the front mesh casing 122 is set on the front communication hole 124;
  • the catalytic converter 13, which is installed in the accommodating space 110 of the outer pipe 11, a central communication hole 131 is set inside of the catalytic converter 13, an annular catalytic conversion element 132 is set on the periphery of the central communication hole 131;
  • the rear cover portion 14, which is covered on the rear end of the outer pipe 11, a rear cover 141, a rear mesh casing 142 and a sleeve 143, a rear communication hole 144 is set on the rear cover 141, the rear mesh casing 142 is set inside of the rear cover 141, a communication hole 145 is set on the rear mesh casing 142, the sleeve 143 is set inside of the communication hole 145.
