Definitions

  • the invention relates to an applicator tip for a cosmetic product, an applicator and an associated applicator assembly.
  • Applicator assemblies for a cosmetic product are known, for example for a cosmetic product intended to be applied on the lips and/or the skin of a user.
  • the applicator assemblies include a receptacle containing the cosmetic product and an applicator adapted to be fixed in a removable manner onto the receptacle.
  • the receptacle generally includes a body, with the body including walls delimiting a reservoir wherein the cosmetic product is contained, and a neck defining an opening through which the cosmetic product can be extracted.
  • the applicator generally includes a cap adapted to be fixed onto the neck, a rod extending from the cap and an applicator tip fixed to a free end of the rod.
  • the rod and the applicator tip extend inside the reservoir.
  • the applicator is immersed into the cosmetic product contained in the reservoir.
  • the user detaches the cap from the neck and extracts the applicator from the receptacle.
  • the generally known applicator tips have a zone in the shape of a spatula intended to come into contact with the portion to which makeup is to be applied, in particular to load them with cosmetic product.
  • the zone in the shape of a spatula usually allows only for a local application of cosmetic product, for example on a single lip at a time.
  • the spatula also has a rigidity that is not comfortable when a pressure is exerted on the portion to which makeup is to be applied.
  • the present invention aims to propose an applicator tip making it possible to apply make-up, in a single application, to an extended zone of a user, for example both lips, while still retaining comfort of use during the application of make-up.

  • the means of articulation separates the first and second application zones by forming at least one reservoir of cosmetic product between the first and second application zones.
  • the applicator tip includes a means of articulation that allows one of the application zones to be mobile in relation to the other. • the application zones 20 a , 20 b can carry a material on their surface or include grooves, in particular of shallow depth, in particular from 200 to 300 micrometres.
  • the material provides a surface condition of which the roughness is modified with respect to that of the application zones 20 a , 20 b taken bare.
  • the applicator tip 10 will have a height h 10 of about 22 mm (see FIG. 8 ) measured between the distal end 16 of the application portion 20 and a proximal end 18 of the sleeve 14 , along the main direction X.
  • the sleeve 14 of the applicator tip 10 is no longer visible, as it is embedded in the rod 40 , in particular at the free end of the latter.
  • the visible applicator tip 10 is then the application portion 20 .
  • the height h′ 10 of the visible portion measured along the main direction X, is about 12.5 mm.
  • a narrowing over the entire length of the application portion, even an absence of material at certain points, makes it possible to define at least two application zones at the applicator tip and to render mobile one of the zones in relation to the other by forming a means of articulation.
  • This narrowing confers a particular shape to the applicator tip which as such has a limited rigidity.
  • a more flexible tip is as such obtained which adapts to different users and to their methods of applying make-up with comfort in use.
  • this narrowing makes it possible to form at least one reservoir allowing for the storage of cosmetic product.
  • the user can as such apply cosmetic product on a more extended surface of a single piece before having to immerse the tip again in the receptacle.
