Description
- The presently disclosed embodiments are related, in general, to smoking apparatuses. More particularly, the presently disclosed embodiments are related to an integrated recreational drug smoking apparatus.
- While recreational drug such as marijuana or cannabis is controversial, many people believe that the drug should be legal. These days the world is starting to accept that cannabis is not the all evil drug that plagues society hence legalization programs are happening around the world either for recreational use or medicinal purposes.
- Many users smoke cannabis on a regular basis such as sports people, active traveler business people and a range of people from all walks of life and in order to smoke cannabis they need various components such as cannabis, pipes, papers, lighter, and a pipe cleaner. However these users may not miss cannabis but they may invariably miss at least one of pipe, papers, lighter or pipe cleaner.
- Traditional smoking apparatuses use an ignition source, such as a lighter or a match, to burn the recreational drug. One problem with traditional smoking devices is that they can be cumbersome and difficult to light in windy environments. For example, it is very difficult to role and light the recreational drug on a chairlift or in a boat when the wind is blowing or in case of snowfall and if user's hand are very cold. Probably if the user such as snow skier, fisherman carrying the recreation drug in one pocket, lighter in another and pipe or papers in another making it an arduous affair.
- Additionally, the smokers must use two hands, one hand to hold the smoking device, and the other hand to ignite the recreational drug. Thus, a smoker does not have a free hand when using the smoking device. Thus, there is a necessity for an integrated recreational drug smoking apparatus that houses the components required to smoke the recreational drug in order to overcome the aforementioned difficulties and drawbacks.
- Further limitations and disadvantages of conventional and traditional approaches will become apparent to one of skill in the art, through comparison of described systems with some aspects of the present disclosure, as set forth in the remainder of the present application and with reference to the drawings.
- According to embodiments illustrated herein, there may be provided an integrated recreational drug smoking apparatus, such as a water pipe or a bong. The apparatus includes an ignition unit, a slidable pipe, an additional pipe, a hinge unit, a holding unit, a casing unit. The ignition unit ignites the recreational drug. The slidable pipe includes an upper unit and a lower unit. The upper unit covers the ignition unit when closed in order to act as a nose protector for a user, further the upper unit acts as a bowl to receive the recreational drug. The lower unit configured with the upper unit. The additional pipe detachably configured with the slidable pipe so as to create a shisha style smoking mechanism and further stores recreational drug. In one embodiment, the additional pipe slides back to the lower unit when closed. The hinge unit designed to lock the slidable pipe and the additional pipe in place when closed so as to the hinge unit does not slide apart and when open and in use the hinge unit turns into a locking unit to locks the slidable pipe and the additional pipe into a pre-defined position for smoking. The holding unit stores the recreational drug. The casing unit houses the ignition unit, the slidable pipe, the additional pipe, the hinge unit, and the holding unit.
