Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Field of Invention
  • The present invention relates to the toilet seat cover that includes an elastic attachment feature.
    • Description of Related Art
  • Toilet seats an essential component of every toilet. The toilet seat sits on top of a toilet bowl to allow a user to use the facilities for urination or defecation. The toilet seat usually includes a lid that covers the entire seat and toilet bowl. The toilet seat is principally made of wood materials or hard plastic materials and may be decorated in various fashions. Some toilet seats however may be uncomfortable for some individuals to sit on due to the temperature of the seat based upon the environmental conditions. Further as stated the seats are made of hard wooden or plastic materials and therefore may be uncomfortable for some individuals to sit on the toilet seat. As a result, it would be advantageous to have a suitable toilet seat cover that is easily placed over the seat to provide a comfortable seating while using a toilet bowl.
    • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to a toilet seat cover including: elastic banding within the seat cover; and a top surface; openings, where the openings are adapted to enable placement of the seat cover over a toilet seat; and a plurality of indentations over the top surface. The toilet seat cover may be made of washable materials.

  • FIG. 1 depicts a toilet seat and toilet seat cover in accordance with the present invention.
    •  DETAILED DESCRIPTION
  • The present invention relates to a toilet seat cover that includes an unique elastic band lining that allows for easy application onto an existing toilet seat. The toilet seat cover according to the present invention incorporates an elastic band that optimizes the fit of the cover over the toilet seat. The cover effectively provides a barrier and suitable contact area for a user.
  • In reference to FIG. 1, Toilet Seat 10 is shown in accordance with the present invention. The Toilet Seat 10 is a typical toilet seat of the prior art. Adjacent to the toilet seat is Toilet Seat Cover 20 in accordance with the present invention. Toilet Seat 20 includes elastic banding that allows effective and suitable attachment of the Toilet Cover 20 onto the Toilet Seat 10. The Cover 20 further includes a Surface 22 with a series of raised indentations to create a comfortable padding over the surface. These raised indentations provide comfortable seating for contact by the user.
  • Due to the effective elastic banding provided on the toilet seat cover the user may easily place the seat cover onto the toilet seat and easily remove it for cleaning purposes. The Seat Cover 20 is preferably made of various soft and washable materials and may be provided in various colors, patterns and designs to meet various users' preferences. The instant invention has been shown and described in what it considers to be the most practical and preferred embodiments. It is recognized, however, that departures may be made there from within the scope of the invention and that obvious modifications will occur to a person skilled in the art.

Claims (2)

What is claimed is:
1. A toilet seat cover comprising:
a. elastic banding within the seat cover; and
b. a top surface;
c. openings, where the openings are adapted to enable placement of the seat cover over a toilet seat; and
d. a plurality of indentations over the top surface.
2. The toilet seat cover according claim 1, where the toilet seat cover is made of washable materials.
