The GOLDENYEARS TEE is designed for golfers in their golden years who have difficulty leaning, bending or squatting to tee up a golf ball. This golf tee is applicable for all golfers who have physical limitations as well as healthy golfers who desire not to, or cannot insert a conventional golf tee in the ground because of ground conditions. The GOLDENYEARS TEE is a golf tee that is not inserted into the ground but sits on top of the ground while enfolding the golf ball between its two resilient deformable fingers. The golfer takes a Golf Club Stick Holder to hold a Pick Up and Reaching Tool and the golf club to the tee up area. The golfer inserts the golf ball between the two resilient deformable fingers of the GOLDENYEARS TEE. The golfer takes the Pick Up and Reaching Tool from the Golf Club Stick Holder. The golfer uses the Pick Up and Reaching Tool to grip the GOLDENYEARS TEE, that is enfolding the golf ball, between the cups of the Pick Up and Reaching Tool. The golfer places the GOLDENYEARS TEE, enfolding the golf ball, on the ground with the Pick Up and Reaching Tool. The golfer returns the Pick Up and Reaching Tool to the Golf Club Stick Holder, takes the golf club and hits the golf ball. The golfer returns the golf club to the Golf Club Stick Holder and takes the Pick Up and Reaching Tool to retrieve the GOLDENYEARS TEE that has propelled forward a slight distance because of the impact of the golf club. The golfer has remained erect during the operation of teeing up the golf ball.
Description
- The present invention is in the technical field of golf. More particularly, the present invention is in the technical field of teeing up a golf ball.
- The GOLDENYEARS TEE is a golf tee that is not inserted into the ground. It sits on top of the ground while enfolding the golf ball. This golf tee enables a golfer to remain erect while placing the golf tee, which is enfolding the golf ball between its two resilient deformable fingers, on the ground with a Pick Up and Reaching Tool. The GOLDENYEARS TEE is basically designed for golfers who have physical limitations.

- The following two commercially available items facilitate the carrying out the operation of teeing up the golf ball with the GOLDENYEARS TEE.

- 2. Pick Up and Reaching Tool with cups
- The golfer takes the Golf Club Stick Holder, Pick Up and Reaching Tool, golf club, the golf ball and the GOLDENYEARS TEE to the tee up area. The golfer inserts the Golf Club Stick Holder into the ground to hold the Pick Up and Reaching Tool and the golf club. The golfer inserts the golf ball between the two resilient deformable fingers of the GOLDENYEARS TEE. The golfer then takes the Pick Up and Reaching Tool from the Golf Club Stick Holder and uses the Pick Up and Reaching Tool to grip the GOLDENYEARS TEE that is enfolding the golf ball and lowers them to the ground. The golfer adjusts the GOLDENYEARS TEE, enfolding the golf ball, using the Pick Up and Reaching Tool so the fingers are perpendicular to the line of the golf ball flight. This ensures that the golfer will hit the golf ball and not a finger of the GOLDENYEARS TEE.
- The golfer returns the Pick Up and Reaching Tool to the Golf Club Stick Holder, takes the golf club from the Golf Club Stick Holder and hits the golf ball that is enfolded in the GOLDENYEARS TEE. The golf ball easily leaves the GOLDENYEARS TEE when struck by the golf club because the fingers hold the golf ball with slight pressure. The impact of the golf club usually propels the GOLDENYEARS TEE a short distance forward. The golfer returns the golf club to the Golf Club Stick Holder and gets the Pick Up and Reaching Tool. The golfer uses the Pick Up and Reaching Tool to retrieve the GOLDENYEARS TEE from the ground.
- The golfer has not had to lean, bend or squat to tee up the golf ball, The golfer has remained erect during the operation of teeing up the golf ball.

- It is contemplated that the base be round. However, it could be square or other shapes as long as it adequately supports and keeps the GOLDENYEARS TEE, enfolding the golf ball, stably on the ground.
- It is contemplated that a round base would be 4.0 mm thick and have a diameter of 60.0 mm.
- 12 Shaft of the GOLDENYEARS TEE
- It is contemplated that the shaft be round or square, but it could be other shapes as long as the integrity and operation of the GOLDENYEARS TEE is not jeopardized.
- It is contemplated that the shaft be solid, but it could be hollow.
- It is contemplated that a round shaft would have a diameter of 17.0 mm.
- It is contemplated that the GOLDENYEARS TEE be manufactured in different heights to accommodate the distance a golfer wants the golf ball to be above the ground.

- It is contemplated that the thickness of the fingers at their top be 3.0 mm and increases to a thickness of 4.5 mm at the beginning of the bevel.

- This curvature is predicated on the curvature of a regulation golf ball. A regulation golf ball has a radius of not more than 21.335 mm.

number 1 divided by the golf ball radius of 21.335 mm, which is 0.0468713 mm. - It is contemplated that the concave curvature, both vertical and horizontal, on the inside of the fingers from their top to the beginning of the bevel be 0.0468713 mm.

- The GOLDENYEARS TEE is of integral construction made of flexible, resilient, yet relatively stiff elastomeric plastic or rubber material for durability and function during repeated and extended use. The two resiliently deformable fingers flex between the end of the bevel and the top of the shaft. See
FIG. 3 , Reference Numeral 16 h. - The top of the fingers enfolding the golf ball are approximately 5.0 mm above the circumference of the golf ball to ensure that the golf ball is held intact. The space between the bottom of the golf ball and the top of the shaft is approximately 1.0 mm.
- When the fingers are in their inert position, the distance between the inside of the fingers, at the circumference of the golf ball, is approximately 25.0 mm. The fingers flex outward when the golf ball is inserted into the GOLDENYEARS TEE and the distance between the inside of the fingers, at the circumference of the golf ball, will be the diameter of a regulation golf ball, which is 42.6 mm.
- It is contemplated that the color of the GOLDENYEARS TEE be gold or white so that it can easily be seen by the golfer to retrieve it from the ground with the Pick Up and Reaching Tool.

- The GOLDENYEARS TEE is designed for golfers in their golden years who have difficulty leaning, bending or squatting to tee up a golf ball. This golf tee is applicable for all golfers who have physical limitations as well as healthy golfers who desire not to, or cannot insert a conventional golf tee in the ground because of ground conditions. The GOLDENYEARS TEE is a golf tee that is not inserted into the ground but sits on top of the ground while enfolding the golf ball between its two resilient deformable fingers. The golfer takes a Golf Club Stick Holder to hold a Pick Up and Reaching Tool and the golf club to the tee up area. The golfer inserts the golf ball between the two resilient deformable fingers of the GOLDENYEARS TEE. The golfer takes the Pick Up and Reaching Tool from the Golf Club Stick Holder. The golfer uses the Pick Up and Reaching Tool to grip the GOLDENYEARS TEE, that is enfolding the golf ball, between the cups of the Pick Up and Reaching Tool. The golfer places the GOLDENYEARS TEE, enfolding the golf ball, on the ground with the Pick Up and Reaching Tool. The golfer returns the Pick Up and Reaching Tool to the Golf Club Stick Holder, takes the golf club and hits the golf ball. The golfer returns the golf club to the Golf Club Stick Holder and takes the Pick Up and Reaching Tool to retrieve the GOLDENYEARS TEE that has propelled forward a slight distance because of the impact of the golf club. The golfer has remained erect during the operation of teeing up the golf ball.
Claims (1)
1. A golf tee that is not inserted into the ground, but sits on top of the ground enfolding the golf ball between its two resilient deformable fingers, comprising:
said golf tee has a base a shaft and two fingers that enfold a golf ball, wherein
golfer inserts the golf ball between the two fingers and grips the golf tee enfolding the golf ball with a commercially available pick up and reaching tool, and
while standing erect the golfer places the golf tee enfolding the golf ball on the ground with the pick up and reaching tool, and
golfer hits the golf ball, and
standing erect, the golfer retrieves the golf tee with the pick up and reaching tool, whereas
golfer has not had to lean, bend or squat to tee up the golf ball, whereas
golfer has not had to insert a golf tee into the ground
