- The disclosure and prior art relates to necktie devices and more particularly pertains to a new necktie device for enhancing an ornamental appearance of a necktie.
- An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a necktie that may be worn around a neck. The necktie has a plurality of button holes extending therethrough. A plurality of buttons is provided and each of the buttons is coupled to the necktie. A selected one of the buttons engages a selected one of the button holes when the necktie is worn. Thus, the plurality of buttons enhances an ornamental appearance of the necktie.
- There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated.
- There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
- The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.
- The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:
-
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a necktie assembly according to an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 2 is a front view of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 3 is a back view of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 4 is a perspective in-use view of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 5 is a cross sectional view taken along line 5-5 ofFIG. 4 of an embodiment of the disclosure. - With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
FIGS. 1 through 5 thereof, a new necktie device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by thereference numeral 10 will be described. - As best illustrated in
FIGS. 1 through 5 , thenecktie assembly 10 generally comprises anecktie 12 that may be worn around a neck. Thenecktie 12 has arear apron 14, afront apron 16 and aneckband 18. Each of therear apron 14 and thefront apron 16 has afront panel 20, aback panel 22 and anend 24. Thenecktie 12 may have ornamental indicia printed thereon thereby enhancing an ornamental appearance of thenecktie 12. - The
back panel 22 corresponding to thefront apron 16 has a plurality ofbutton holes 26 extending therethrough. Each of thebutton holes 26 is spaced apart from each other. Moreover, thebutton holes 26 are vertically distributed on thefront apron 16 proximate theend 24 corresponding to thefront apron 16. Thenecktie 12 is tied in a knot around the neck. Thus, theback panel 22 corresponding to thefront apron 16 abuts theback panel 22 corresponding to therear apron 14. - A plurality of
buttons 28 is provided. Each of thebuttons 28 is coupled to thenecktie 12. A selected one of thebuttons 28 engages a selected one of thebutton holes 26 when thenecktie 12 is worn. Thus, the plurality ofbuttons 28 enhances an ornamental appearance of thenecktie 12. - The plurality of
buttons 28 comprises afirst button 30 that is coupled to thefront panel 20 corresponding to thefront apron 16. Thefirst button 30 is centrally positioned on thenecktie 12. Acap 32 is selectively coupled to thefirst button 30 such that thecap 32 conceals thefirst button 30. Thecap 32 may frictionally engage the button thereby removably retaining thecap 32 on thefirst button 30. - A set of second buttons 34 is provided and each of the second buttons 34 is coupled to the
front panel 20 corresponding to therear apron 14. The second buttons 34 are spaced apart from each other. Moreover, the second buttons 34 are vertically distributed on therear apron 14 proximate theend 24 corresponding to therear apron 14. Each of the second buttons 34 is aligned with thebutton holes 26 when thenecktie 12 is worn. A selected one of the second buttons 34 engages a selected one of thebutton holes 26. Thus, therear apron 14 is removably coupled to thefront apron 16. - In use, the
necktie 12 is worn in the convention of neckties. Thenecktie 12 is tied in a selected one of an ornamental knot associated with neckties. Thus, theneckband 18 forms a closed loop around the neck. Each of thefront apron 16 and therear apron 14 extends downwardly from the neck when thenecktie 12 is worn. A selected one of the second buttons 34 is manipulated to engage a selected one of thebutton holes 26. Thus, therear apron 14 is resiliently aligned with thefront apron 16 thereby enhancing an ornamental appearance of thenecktie 12. - With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
- Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
